Need a different Perspective
by satish on Aug 31, 2010 09:27 PM  | Hide replies

Yes what these guys have done is wrong ? They have breached the trust of their fans & there should be definitely some disciplinary action.

Now let us look at this from these guys perspective:
1. last 5 years no International cricket in Pakistan.
2. Only since last year they have had a few foreign tours.
3. What pakistan cricketers get as part of central contract is pathetic as what other international cricketers are paid.

Imagine a guy earning 1000 pounds & does not know how much future potential is there , sees a potential opportunity to get 100000 pounds. Will the guy be not tempted.
I am not saying what they did is right but most of the guys in their state would probably done the same.

I would hate to see talents like Mohammed Amir or Asif being banned for life.

they themself are responsible for this shocking situation and they r making it more terrible for future generation ..forgrt 1000 pound they may not get 10 pounds in future....one day jump from 1000 to 10000 is not sustainable...

Pakistanis are not aware of the modern technology that can be used in London. They thought they are in some rawalpindi or peshawar...hehehe they landed in a big soup.

Srilanka

Yeah in this light, the Sri Lanka's pacer bowling a noball to deny sehwag a century is also a geniune spot fixing effort. May be a big bet was there in favour as sehwag is on the verge of century. The bookies might have called of a heist through srilankan bowler.
any takes??!!

re-arrest ???
by vinay on Aug 31, 2010 08:52 PM  | Hide replies

what non-sense. if there is fixing of matches involved, then y the fixer bookie was released on bail so as to b re-arrested later. when rumours of arrest of all cktrs going on, the bookie itself is released.

its mockery of events.

my friend vinay in the UK which has proper LAW unlike your country. A person can be released on bail. they can not leave the country pending further investigation. I live in the UK and can assure you that being released on bail means there is something going on. he is on bail! It is not india it is UK my friend.

Pack your bags Rizwan as all Pakis will be chased out of UK and every self respecting country in the world. Anyway you have PAKIstan, which is the worlds cleanest and best country with a great culture.

All the best !!!

all efforts to save cktrs will start now.
by vinay on Aug 31, 2010 08:49 PM

even during ausi tour, when porkis didnt score 120 runs to win, it was a fixed game by porkis to lose.
even pcb n everybody knew n slapped ban on cktrs like yusuf n younis. only thing, they didnt disclose the real reasons to ppl.
but then pcb begged to such fixers for their comeback n lift the ban.

even now, pcb r just trying to calm down the matter n they vl agn do eyewash on ppl.

the icc n cktrs r biggest fixers n v the fans vl always b fooled by their gimmicks due to our short memories.
