spot fixing is cool. no harm in earning some quick bucks as long it doesnt affects the result of the match. if politicians and officials are making a loot of the common people's money in the name of commonwealth games, then wats wrong in spot fixing by players since there is nothing unpatriotic and ungamesmanship in it and it doesn't affects the result of the match.
People involved in betting are usually very rich people who can afford to hire top advocates in the Country and come out of jail Scot free. In India it is much easier to escape from the law after committing crime if you have good amount of money. Time & again it is proved. Sadly betting will continue to be there in India for long unless some stringent laws brought to curb this menace.
To be paid to lose matches, the team has to be capable of winning. Its very creditable for Pakistan that their players are paid to lose, unlike India who lose because they are incapable of winning. Unless they lift their performance, Indian players cannot hope to be paid to lose matches!
What is so big about it? All games are fixed. To enter the competition, coaches fix the sportsgirls, harass them, abuse them and in case of men money and power plays more than the players themselves.
In International events like CWG, Kalmadi and group play corruption. This is yet another kind of fixing. Fixing matches in cricket is as old as cricket is, if not older. Why single out Porkis on this?
Corruption has entered every walk of our life. Now the second stage has already started. It is called fraud. Corruption is seeking favour for doing or not doing something. Fraud is directly laying hands on the system and looting it. This fraud too has become a collective instance rather than a single man case.
The common man who is simply sitting and watching the tamasha is to be blamed. When there was terror attack in Mumbai, there was a procession, march, candle light protest, all sorts of things. When there is such huge corruption in CWG, nobody is opening mouth. This shows how we have accepted corruption in our daily lives. I think we should not waste time talking or writing about such petty things any more.

u r 100% right my brother. i share the same thoughts. but we also do nothing against all these apart from posting our comments. Can we together do something to stop this CWG tamasha?
ppl thought there is no fixing n asked all to prove it. now its proved that porki cktrs r involved in fixing n even other country cktrs' like ind cant escape from doubt. but one thing is sure porki r the biggest fixers in the world.
