Sudden resignation from the test team, and his teammates wanting him to resign(they wanted Butt to take over as ODI captain as well) as the ODI captain as well. Was Shahid Afridi aware of this nexus? Did he step down in time, and "purposely" use Salman Butt's name to take over as captain of the Pakistan Cricket team? is there a lot more to come out? More skeletons in the closet?
If proved, this is going to be much more worse than the match fixing scandal that rocked the cricketing world in 2000.

Suppandi, I'm not blaming Shahid afridi. in one of the reports on News Of the World - The bookies states that the teammates wanted Salman Butt to take over as the ODI captain, and that they were deperately trying to win the 3rd and 4th test against England.
They wanted Butt to take over because according to them Shahid Afridi was poking his nose in the wrong places.

word innocent in paki has different meaning. Big time looters/theives/mafia are all innocent generally in pak. Eg Dawood Ibrahim who is a redcorner interpol notice is happily leading life in pak becoz he is innocent in terms pak.

Err... What you seem to conveniently ignore is that both Pakistan and Bangladesh were formed out of India. Let us not make this a regional, religious issue. It is way too easy to blame each other. I think pakis look even beyond 5000 years. They look 10 million years back - man came from monkeys, thats why they even today trying to behave like monkeys - be it sports, politics or common people.
