MS DHONI the useless / selfish is hero when there was a team built and maintained by SAURAV GANGULY and RAHUL DRAVID was with him. INDIA won T20 world cup because of the fantastic players built by GANGULY. Not because of this useless guy. This man don't have any guts to build or maintain one good team. DHONI is spoiling HINDUSTAN's name. Kick him out from captaincy and make VIRENDER SEHWAG as captain and YUVRAJ SINGH as vice captain.
one day or twenty-twenty, no alternate to sound batting technique, as akram said we need Dravid in oneday team even though older else where is the player to match his technique. Shrikant should think in the interest of nation instead of promoting players from tamilnadu.
As Usual sehwag throws his wicket at crucial times..also while chasing big totals he doesnt stays on pitch for even a while.. He is just showstuffer... when chaising 171 runs he was potryed like a herculean ..but what happens for 300 above tot.
(1)Bring in batsmen with good technical skills who can play straight and in the V . Gambhir has had a heavy dose of t-20 cricket and hence lack of form. he'll be back once he concentrates on basics. (2) Remove players with inconsistency boldly- Raina, kartik,kohli,sharma & yuvraj. Yuvraj needs to improve his technique to sustain. Raina harldly has any footwork. Can anyone repriman dhoni for picking Jadeja again and again . jadeja is not good to even represent a school!. Dhoni should know that he has no batting techniqe himself and should use his boldness only to manage the players.If there are any egp probs he should be reminded that he was a Rly TTE from Kharagpur (WB) (3)As for bowlers, the corporates should be entrusted through BCCI to produce and feary fast bowler (raw talent) from anywhere within one year before world cup. We will never get any from the regular ranji players. Remember how imran khan picked abdul qudir. similarly a genuine spinner who can turn the ball on any conditions can be spotted if prperly searched. makeshift bowlers cannot be expected to pick wickets all the time. disciplining of raw talent can be done under a professional later. (4) we need genuine batsment with good technique upto no-5, while for no-6 & 7 slots we can have some slogger like yuvraj (5)There should be genuine fast bowlers atleast-2 in slots 8,9 and spinners in slots-10 & 11 who can bowl in tandem. its high time to rest players like, yuvraj, rohit sarma & kohli atlest for two years and karthik and jadeja for ever.
makes no difference; all have made pots and pots of money; including the paralytic pawar; the king of corruption. dhoni!!! one has had enough of this fool; get rid of him.the whole team when seen looks like a pack of jokers.
Poor umpiring & that too more than twice against Karthik & Pathetic batting from Raina,Dhoni (Except final), Kohli,yuvaraj,Rohit makes India lose. Bowling lacks direction.Need of the hour Fielding & Bowling coach till world cup.
Pathetic display by Indian team once again. We need players to play in a dedicated manner for their country & not being show offs & take it lightly. Apart from Veeru, Dhoni & a few others, players looked disinterested & unprepared for the big challenge. In the final they let Lankans off the hook, let them score freely & encouraged them to score easi runs. When slow bowlers were required the Indian think tank, only played 4 regular bowlers. Maybe they should have played 2 regular spinners, instead of 2 seamers.Ishant's selection was really poor, when quickies were belted for runs freely.
Yuvi looks wasted. He shd. go & do endorsement of his products, let some keen fresh talent take his place. Newcomer Virat Kohli impressed.
