When India won in 1983 and in 1985 we did not have any coach. But later on the retired players were tempted to involve themselves for making money. They came as Umpire, Radio Expert Commentator, TV commentator and so on. Few choose to become selectors not with any good intentions but to settle scorest. Even people who had not played any level started becoming Coach.Then it became a fashion. Now dropped catches have become a common phenomenon but I had never heard Solkar, Abid Ali, Farook Engineer, Wadekar, Pataudi, Gavaskar, Kirmani, Kapil Dev, Madan Lal or Roger Binny dropping a catch. Coach has hardly had any answer for this now a days. I don't know what Gary Kirstan is doing? Can't he correct the techniques of Rohit Sharma? I was told that once when Gavaskar was getting caught by Dujon or slip fielders, Abid Ali watched Gavaskar in the nets and suggested a minor adjustment in gripping the bat and Gavaskar scored a double century. So we do not require a full time coach but what we need is some worthy inputs from good players of yester years who are really interested inIndian cricket and not in money. Hats off to Abid Ali

and todays shewag plays a winning knock, dhobi will take credit for outstanding captain...irrespective of his poor performance so far...
if we have talent like Irfan n yusuf then why dhoni is giving so much chances to jadeja??? is it only because shane warne has praised him during IPl? I think this is the only reason y dhoni is keeping him in team. Dhoni's thinking has changed a lot, or he might be thinking himself as a great person next to god
rohit sharma and ravindra jadeja both r care lase player in current team pls drop them and if we need all rounder pls call irfan pathan, yusuf pathan, ashwin, abhishek nair. we have saurav tiwari why dont give chance to him.

after this series, let him off... robi will keep wicket.. sehwag should be the captain...and must not consider karthik,ohja,jadeja kinda kids...
at least after this, please call back, MURALI KARHICK, AJITH AGARKAR instead of peeping int o bajji n zaheer...they have got enough... AND CALL IRFAN PATHAN, ROBIN UTHAPPA, AMBATI RAYUDU & ABHISHEK NAYAR instead of rohit, dinesh karthick, jadeja, &ohja..atleast we could build an all rounder like ROBIN SINGH with ABHISHEK & IRFAN...
