K/Sanghakara is right that ICC must make the referrals compulsory because with selective application for different series there is no level playing field.Further, after the poor umpiring seen in the last match the necessity of such a system is felt all the more. But why Indian cricketers do not want it ? It is true even with Technology an odd decision may still look doubtful but at least one can have the satisfaction of having the best possible decisions with minimal human errors? Perhaps, the Indians want the excuse of poor umpiring to cover up their poor performance duly hyped by the Indian TV media 24x7 for days together. We have seen this happen in the last match media blaming the poor umpiring for the loss overlooking poor performance by the Indians.True, Dharamsena did not have a great day but if the decisions had been referred only Yuvi would have got the reprieve but would not have made much impact on the result of the game at that late stage with only 100 runs on the board. This way neither the media is helpful nor the Indian side seem to be learning to prepare themselves for winning the 2011 WC.The prospects for the Dhoni led team looking bleak.
even if it is udrs doesn't matter.make dharmasena 3rd umpire,he can win matches for srilanka.no amount of evidence is enough for him,his finger always raises in support of srilanka.he should be given srilanka RATNA award.

Dharmasena is a person with low IQ and a patriot.Remember him doing an ugly gesture with Hemang badani. He does deserve to do umpiring even in street cricket.Such fools should only watch cricket.
Yes the technology should be used provided it really solves the problem...and Indian batsmen need to do a much better job.. karthik is the most undeserving player to play for India...and Rohit Sharma is the laziest.. Without Gambhir Indian top order looks very fragile...88 and 103 are not the kind of scores that would win us the world cup..
In coming matches karthik should be pushed lower down the order if he is selected. Virat kohli should be asked to open as he can do a better job than karthik.Virat kohli is wasted. coming matches kohli should be asked to open the batting , he should be asked to play the whole 50 overs. he should play as anchor.Karthik's score justifies that. By saying that India should have agreed for UDRS, is sangakara justifying Dharmasena for giving bad decisions.Nonsense. Now its sure that dharmasena will be officiating in finals. God Save whoever plays against srilanka.

Well, if you happen to notice, it was all pre-planned !!! Given the Indians' aversion to UDRS, exploit the umpiral route, so you can always claim 'use UDRS if you want level playing field, otherwise we will force umpires - Sri Lankan or International doesn't matter - to achieve results by hook or crook.
Have you ever seen appealing - my god - it was atrocious - almost orchestrated . It was then secondary whether there was any actual evidence for it or not. Just put them under undue pressure - players & umpires, both. It brings to my mind Ponting's image in Sydney fiasco, where he told in no uncertain terms in front of Tv cameras.
ICC should look into this bunch, really they do not deserve to be called fairest chaps winning 2 consecutive team awards, don't believe me, just watch recent Test match series betweeen the two sides. To their discredit Indians did succumb to it, without a whimper.
