Re: 200 crore deal vs 200 runs defeat...What a shame to DHONI !

This has nothing to do with his signing a contract for 200 crore. It is a team sport. Everyone has to contribute. Blaming the captain alone will not be of help. All the players are to be blamed.

Blaming Dhoni is foolish. When Dhoni won a number of test matches and ODIs, then what was your reaction? Very easy to sit and talk about losing captains. Why blame the captain when the other batsmen are not applying themselves. Everyone makes money in some way or other. If Dhoni has been approached by RHITI Sports, then that is his luck. He is not the only cricketer who has been approached for signing contracts.
Think before talking should be applied in this message.

agree/... i think most of the people critisizng dhoni cant digest that a small town guy can suddenly earn 100s of crores..
Why is this article appearing now? Agreed, what heppened with Sehwag was wrong but instead of blaming India for a disastrous performance we are now digging old graves.
The habit of denying an opponent the pleasure of a record / landmark is quite old even in India. In 1948-49, B.B.Nimbalkar playing for Maharashtra against Kathiawar reached 443 and everyone was anticipating his breaking Bradman's then record first class score of 452 not out. But the Kathiawar captain conceded the match thereby not giving Nimbalkar the opportunity.
Later on in a most bizarre turn of events in 1972-73, in the Madras test between Ajit Wadekar's India and Tony Lewis' England, India needing 86 to win were 85 for 6 with Pataudi on 20 and an injured Gavaskar yet to open his account. While all were betting on who would score the winning run, umpire Ahmad Mamsa standing in his last test, noballed England's slow left-arm spinner Norman Gifford, thereby stunning the entire English team. Maybe it was Mamsa's way of taking revenge on a team that had behaved most reprehensibly and undermined the confidence of many decent Indian umpires.
During the Centenary test against England team, The great G.R. Vishwanath, capt of India recalled their wicket keeper batsmen. The story should be published again for the world to know about it.Rediff would you please pblish it for the younger generation to read and if possible to follow. Visual media also should give coverage for such "golden moments" in our cricketing history
