Punter was desperate to scuttle his fellow and former teammates' efforts to get lucrative IPL contracts and that was why he not only tried to act smart but also exceeded his brief by whipping up useless sentiments. Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist (especially the former who would brook no nonsense from Punter) perfectly asked Punter not to poke his nose into others' choices. Punter made a laughing stock of himself in IPL-1 by his pathetic performance with the bat. Worse, he had to play under the Bengali Dalda.

its time for ponting to sit back and watch the ashes.... he is become a old fox who is striving hard to keep himself alive in the media so that at least for some reason - people are talking about him... come on mr ponting.. now you are getting jealous of warne and gilly just because they are getting big bucks in ipl and your so called kkr team failed terribly in all 3 seasons.... not sporting at all...

It's not about KKR, man. These guys dont want India's dominance in world cricket. They are hypocrites because for the better part of cricket history, they ruled the cricketing world. Even now, most English and Australian cricketers get away with boorish behavior without even a small fine. They want that to continue.

not true at all tats wat u guys wanna believe even when greg chapell was caoch every one said he here to destroy india cricket in reality no one gives a hoot , look at teh cw games india is a joke aussies are way ahead in all forms
