It seems like captaincy is having its toll on Sanga. His constant complaining about everything - opposing players, umpires, foreign boards, schedule - makes one wonder why doesn't he put in more effort in improving his captaincy skills - which have been mediocre at best - and at improving his team's performance. Under his leadership, SL have ZERO chance of winning the World Cup. I can't imagine what he'll complain about then. I was actually a fan of his but am now getting fed up of his whinning all the time.
Somehow Sangakkara has become a whiner since assuming captaincy. It seems like he's complaining about everything- opposing players, umpires, schedule, foreign boards. Perhaps it hasn't occured to him that it's his very ordinary captaincy and mediocre team that are responsible for their mediocre results! Sanga, a piece of advice - shut up and work on improving your team's performance. The rest will take care of itself.
You should see the comments in in crinfo which is anti India. One Sri Lankan writes that already BCCI dictated and his country would loose to-day's match. Just like the fax telling the grapes are sour

Sanga without any potency famously quoted "India do not deserve to be the number one side in the world as they did not win against them at their backyard". What happened after that was a different story.
Point is that, these Lankans believe that they are the team to beat, come the next world cup. They could do well only in sub-continental conditions which is tailored to suit their slower bowlers. India did well by amputating their nose in the Asia Cup final.
these days media, they want sensationalism every minute. so, any small incident also is magnified and put in the headlines..not only in sports, even in politics, instead of focussing on socio economic problem, they tend to highlight many a personal matters of politicians, whether ruling or opposition, which is not correct..hope some one censures the media..

How Sanga appealed when Karthik was not out in the earlier series. Dilshan was dancing before the umpire to confuse him.

Should be really brave to show even his face after the no-ball fiasco. Comical part is that, his initial defence became a meek surrender later on by sucuubming to stump camera microphone.
Come on India, this is the time to give Sri Lanka their reply for not having a sportsman spirit. Get them off from Finals and that too with a bonus point! Chak De India!
