Rajkot was never a great ground. If a new good ground is being built, then there is no point in this protest. We need good grounds with good stadium not these kind of grounds which even didnt have a built stadium.

my dear friend there is a new world class cricke ground is being build at rajkot having capacity of 5oooo.very shortly new ground is ready.

does it mean u have to destroy this ground. read what the article says, it says this ground will be needed for Ranji matches anyways and off course local players might need it for practice. @ Uday - if u feel 2 ODIs do not make a ground important, check out how many grounds in India have this distinction, i am sure there want be more than 50, or may be only 25.
This is plain crap...if u dont get anything else, blame Modi for the ground at least...and so how about initiating a CBI inquiry into this matter ? I wonder how low the Congress can stoop !

do u mean to say, this thing shud not be protested. people in gujarat are now realising the ways of modi. he arranges grand celebrations for each and everything, so the general public which is so gullible think he is doing many good things. and he arranges all this by using the state machinery and public funds. school children are asked to sit in heat without water for hours, waiting for him to arrive, bcos district magistrates had issued orders for all govt. schools to remain present compulsorily. just to show large number are present there. this is just one example.
congress in rajkot & gujarat have so far nothing in hand & that's why all this natak is happening. Modi used that ground for 15 th August. In rajkot new cricket ground is under construction while the current one is not even fair for one day or test matches because the ground is too small & not much people can sit inside it. Besides if any match is played u can have good number of sixes as the ground is very small. So whether the ground is destroyed or used for some other purpose will not matter. i am from rajkot & know its fate. Congress has nothing against Modi except to mourn their failure.
