Why Sanga only?
by sunny on Aug 18, 2010 07:15 PM  | Hide replies

I think Dhobi is also to blame here. His selfish attitude was also one of the reason why Sehwag was unable to complete his century!!

P.S : I know after reading this comment, many of the Dhobo lovers will start barking.

My feeling without hesitation is the award should go to Viru... closely followed by Dhoni.

"flat pitch bullies" who have scored tons of runs on subcontinent "bowlers grave yard"...are preferd over real match winners on tough pitch conditions....
shame on this committe which nominated these players...
best offspinner in the world now...swann who bowled well on all pitch conditions and brought victories for ENG and jimmy anderson, the best swing and seam bowler and a match winner are not in the list..!!!!
this is utterly nonsense......

It is difficult to choose without knowing how they performed last (this?) year. I think they take into account both test as well as one day matches.

Sure. Just let me know when you com here. I have been to all top hotels/bars her during last couple of months just to see how they had to offer. Couldn't have dreamt of entering them 4-5 years ago. As they are expensive one shahi paneer is Rs. 400

Indian Players
by manikutty on Aug 18, 2010 07:06 PM  | Hide replies

Indian players are selfish
Why our media behind this, after all, we won the match.
If Shewag plays well, he will smash a century and then 10 matches he won’t even score 10. We required team contribution rather than individual score. Look at other team, they may not have big guns like Sachin, shewag, etc. but they score 40-60 in almost all the matches and finally team wins.
Our media is the culprit, like soembody score more than hundered, their will be news for 10 days but forget other players contribution.
Finally, shewag should have kept mum as team victory is important.

If sehwag had done all this drama when team lost then it would have been wrong. But he won the match for the team so there is nothing wrong. He did the best for the team & doing best for himself. It is important for him to score 100's too

England 7 down against Paks
by Sanjay on Aug 18, 2010 06:53 PM  | Hide replies

WICKET! Swann 8 c U Akmal b Asif (31st over: England 94-7 (Prior 9, Broad 0)) Asif strays down leg, Akmal can't get across and that's four byes. Swann could do with sticking around here. Back in December his average was close to 40, but it's been plummetting ever since and it's now closer to 20. That looks promising - a clever clip to leg that outstrips Riaz to the boundary. Ah … this is a little less clever. A pokey, proddy, push at Asif that Umar Akmal takes well in the slips

lol! You get that in Jalandar?! If you like cider have you tried Strongbow??? In England lot of people including goray drink Cobra... I love that stuff! But the quality we get here is different to the local quality in India. In India it's not as tasty!

And I do like apple cider. It is just like beer but sweeter. Don't like beer any more because it gives that 'beer belly'

Wow I wrote a long sentence and it was automatically deleted. Let me try again.

Yes we do have many w.i.n.e shops here near my home. Local and imported w.h.i.s.k.e.y is available and w.i.n.e is available here.
