What Indian Selectors and Team Management are doing?
They are NOT DOING any ‘Basework’ / ‘Analysis’ / ‘Preparation’ before any series.
JUST ONE INSTANCE :
If they had done some BASE WORK – they would have thought about following :
1. All matches will be played in Dambulla. 2. The pitch of Dambulla offers lot of bounce. 3. Remember 5th ODI between Sri Lanka and India 27-Dec-10, when Sri lanka abandoned the match due to ‘HIGH BOUNCE’ after 23.3 overs. 4. The high bounce which Sri Lanka found difficult to play was from - SUDEEP TYAGI. 5. Before introduction of Sudeep Tyagi Sri Lanka was able to play, but found him too-bouncy to play. 6. If selectors had done home work – they would have included Sudeep Tyagi – who would have been more effective on this Dambulla pitch

Point # 3. That was in Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi not in Dambulla.
Dhoni is busy in his Honeymoon and not concentrating on Indian Cricket team. BCC should give holiday to Dhoni to recover and give chance to some other active player to lead the Cricket team.
ironically consistent performing players like pujara r not selected in the team n much hyped players like rohit n yuv r selected.
rohit is an overhyped player. every1 is talkig of his illusionary talent which is not there in him. he has been given so many chances but still v r expecting 'some' runs from him. even jadeja has to b shown door. he needs either to play well with the bat or perish.
when r v going to select genuine talent like pujara who is performing consistently. wake up after such a dysmal defeat.

the team really had a bad is what i would put it. having said that if they are smart and worth the brand value that the billion fans put on them - they need to take lessons and convert their efforts into results. if they do not, soon they can become sitting ducks and loose their dignity. good news, they have it in them to do it.
