Sachin, Dravid and Laxman are nearing to their retirements and who can replace them for Test matches. The Captain and Board should think about this seriously. Can it be Suresh Raina. Murali Vijay and Wasim Jaffer.

Wasim is quite old..Murali is only alternative to the openers Sehwag & Gambhir...Dravid,Laxman and Sachin should be there for the important series against Australia..only after that, in my opinion,we should look at replacements.

We guys are fighting it out among ourselves here,, but what a sight it was when Dravid Hugged LAxman,, Sachin having is own fun ,, these guys have scored individually , still team loses,, they are pained.. smilarly,, one of them scores well all enjoy it.. thats teamwork/team game.. ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL.
Rahul Dravid is one of the great legend of Indian cricket..Gentleman from KARNATAKA..one of the 2 Indians who have scored 10000 runs in International one day and test cricket matches.

What is your point SKM Prasad? Are you hitting the Karnataka band wagon because Dravid failed so miserably in this series? Do you have a guilty conscience because Dravid failed so badly? Currently Dravid is in such poor form he does not deserve a place in India team. He may scored over 11000 test runs but current form is more important to be selected for team India. Pujara should have been selected instead of Dravid. Even Dravid's team mate and bowler Mithun scored more runs than Dravid in this test series.

wait what ? this is Dravid's 1st international series in months. He isn't in bad form, just needs 1 good solid inning to get back to what he does best.
he has had starts, he hasn't been able to convert them into 50's and 100's

Err Sehwag 4 tons in that. And Sachin out of 10 such fights 8 are on non sun continental wickets.

He should retire but will he? Dravid could still bat lower down when the new ball has lost its shine and zip. Number 3 batsmen should be a much younger batsman. The same thing happened to G R Vishwanath (loss of form) when he got older and he was also batting one down or #3.

Yes, beacuse Sachin is that kind of God which fails evrytime when needed most. Not only on postal stamps but also on 1000 rs, number plates, in Temples, Masjids, Gurudwara and churchs

there are only 4 century makers in 4th inning wins for us in tests while chasing. Sachin is among them. And do you remember how many times Sehwag, Ganguly, Azhar and others got out when it mattered? And you want to say that getting out after scoring 50 is irresponsible? Having a senior at other end always helped others consolidate. These things cant be shown in statistics. But one thing very apprent was how Raina invited problems in the beginning and was calmed down by Laxman later. HAd it been just Raina and say Ishant, they could not make similar innings. Sachin played well and have been playing and let us not look with Big lens only at Sachin's performances.
