The only thing you need to do in Sri Lanka is win the toss and bat first. You pile on the runs and the spinners come into play on the 3rd and 4th day. It's unfortunate that most matches are decided due to dead pitches in the sub continent and hence the interest is fading. Contrast that to England or Australia where the pitches are livelier, bouncier and conducive to stroke play and as a result, infinitely more interesting to watch.
