good, you called yousuf who has retired from cricket for the second time after icl, "he is training and fit to play" says selector. so may be you can also recall Waqar Younis, anwar, moin khan, etc,,etc,, from retirement too. you can say "they may be fit, may be not, but they have the experience on their side". if yousuf is willing to play now why he has to retire after he is axed and fined. " just to save his face and his own selfishness", this shows as in his captaincy aus that he has no fighting potential and stand up for himself. this may get routine if we allow him to play, and future generation will be tempted to follow his lead if they think team cannot progress without them. insted of recalling him we have to have faith in youngster and build the team for future.
