Why Lalit Modi was not on Dawood's radar till he was kicked out of IPL? Why suddenly he came onto radar of D gang? The reason is simple. Lalit Modi should not open the secrest of bigwigs like Sharad Pawar,Praful Patel and all the other politicians involved into it.
Now Modi would be eliminated by these political thugs who feel that Modiwould reveal all the truth. They would do this in Dawood's name.Thats all.

Dawood is behind Modi's life, because

1)Modi made sure that.. not allow Paki players to play in IPL.
2) Modi has not given enough money to D company.
3) D cannot see so much money generated and BCCI bcoming stronger..

One more theory is Sharad Pawar might have given his supari to D.
Another possibility is this is just another gimmick by Modi himself to generate people's sympathy and to become a national hero.
