Yaa..some people are just J that SRK owns a team and their favourite actor dont!!! Go up Guys..............
No wonder India is such a laughing stock. In no other country such transactions will be questionable. I think these agencies are trying to nail Lalit Modi by hook or by crook under government orders. For example, what is wrong with the way Manoj Badale made the transaction, as described in the article:
"Badale directly sent the money to BCCI-IPL accounts in January 2008, instead of the normal banking channels, say ED sources. While Badale paid the money, the franchisee agreement was signed by Ms Jaipur [ Images ] IPL Pvt Ltd in April 2008. The agencies claim the deposits made by Badale were Foreign Direct investments."
Was all Govt. Agencies were sleeping when all things were going wrong? Or as usual all Govt. Officials were highly bribed so that they closed there eyes. JAI HIND

It is always your responsibility to see that you do things legally. Ask any businessman, even a simple income tax or sales tax ggof up is detected years after it was done.
In all cases, govt agencies trap their prey after all misappropriations or flouting of laws happen.
As an ordinary Indian struggling to make two ends meet in times of spiralling prices, does Rediff think that any on us really care if any of the IPL teams are owned by these so called celebrities or by a bunch of banana-eating apes?
