Strange that there is no news on this in Rediff sports main page. A lot more relevant than Dhoni's ungrammatical and irrelevant babble.
IPL's impact is huge on ODI & Test cricket.Just it is a matter of two years what our team is holding No.1 spot in test ranking will be replaced by either Australia or SA no dought about that because by the end of 2012 Sachin Dravid Laxman would be retired so it is a matter of great concern that BCCI should consider this IPL menace as detrimental to Test cricket not only for the rest of the world but on every indian.Many will suffer from IPL indirectly even the cricket this is purely a commercial extravaganza.

IPL provides opportunity of earning to lot of indian players who will not be selected in indian team forever. so let us enjoy IPL . it is more fun than t20 world cup or test match.

I think both are different forms and both have their own viewers. IPL will definitly change players approach towards game which might affect test cricket. Lets See what BCCI comes up with as peopel like Sunny and Ravi must be aware of this.
