RR,s ownership details
by P S Subramanian on Apr 27, 2010 02:30 PM

It is very clear from the letter written by the Rajasthan Royals group that their ownership is genuine and there is no violation of any statute or attempt to hide facts. The public statement made by Sashank Manohar seems to be obviously deceptive and a deliberate move to cause fear in the minds of Shilpa Shetty and her husband into dropping their support to Lalit Modi. They seem to have similarly tried to twist the arms of Preity Zinta and Sahara's Subroto Roy, and the latter seems to have allowed himself to be scared by Manohar and company. More such stinking facts about Manohar and his henchmen are bound to come out, and thereafter, this group of corrupt men, including the ring leader Srinivasan, are bound to be on the defense and will be desperately looking for a place to hide their black faces. The Indian public will not spare them when that stage comes. It will be discreet for the trio Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar and Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi to give this tainted group a wide berth and not get anywhere near them, unless they are also directly or indirectly already culpable. We hope to god that this is not so, for our current regard for this trio is immeasurable.

Sleazy Game and Sleazy Investigation by FM -what a Joke

How IPL's financial wrongdoings passed the scrutiny of BCCI auditors for 3 years in a row. Surely there is more to it than what meets the eyes. How can an individual hide a ‘scandal’ of such magnitude?
why was the so called honest government in deep slumber for more than 3 years? Secondly, why is the probe restricted to just the sources and routes of the funding, why not on the ‘involvement of politicians’ in the IPL

IPL has no real interest in the game. It focusses on night parties (or after-parties), where players and public (ones ready to splurge money), jig to the DJ’s tune till wee hours
They did swoop on TELECOM offices also and now silently buried as UPA needs DMK support

Bid was transparent and in compliance with norms: Rajasthan Royal
by Hebbar R on Apr 27, 2010 02:22 PM  | Hide replies

There were News Reports today that at the time of IPL1, there were not many people interested in buying teams and at that time Mr. Srinivasan proposed that he will buy a team on behalf of India Cements (India Cements bought Chennai Team) and approval was given by the then President Mr. Sharad Pawar for this. The idea was to encourage others to buy teams. If this is taken as truth, then Lalit Modi has probably done favours to IPL by getting his friends and family to invest in PML Teams at a time when there was not much interest for this. The allegations that are coming now are then totally misrepresented and based on the situation after IPL3. The whole issue seems to be based on Vengeance by the Congress and jealousy by a lot of people who probably did not get a share of the pie.

The issue was started after one of congees minister was forced to resign. to give clean chit to shashi tharoor, drama began of IT raids..harrassment to L.Modi...lots of ministers are eying on the huge earnings of IPL...any how they(congee) wants to controle IPL...this is their routine habit.. eg. goa assembly was suppose to dissolve with the help of G-7.. then started the drama of IT raids on G-7 members..they stopped thier motion and kept quite..

What is being said is absolutely true. Investing huge sums of money into only ownership rights is something new to India. What IPL is today is to the credit of Mr.Modi only as all the others say that they did not have anysay. So if also there have been wrongs then trhey have also to be thoroughly evaluated and the guilty punished. Even if it is the creator of the IPL.
