Absurd Indians gullibly lap up everything that the filthy, biased media will offer. The govt autocratic attitude in framing Modi on the basis of his behaviour is one of injustice that govts have been doing just because they don't have a chunk to share in the rollicking IPL where a single person takes all sheen. And why not? Whose job is to fix tax and other irregularities, why was it not taken care by govt earlier? The govt and media are unnecessarily harassing a lone person who has done enough for the sports and shown marvellous examples by donating for the school children in every match. The country has become a propagandoic, queer, hollow herd. Govt wants to save its own ministers who got big chunks in IPL and now didnt get even more.this is the reason fr opposing JPC This Must Stop.
Modi is innocent, he is being used to hide major culprits behind the curtain, If the Government really wants to identify or take them out, should make a committee to do so.
the game of cricket should be restored to full dignity.cricket does not need boozing or filmstars or cheerleaders to be interesting. cricket is itself a full entertainment.
There are messages in this forum asking for a ban on IPL. This is a ridiculous suggestion.
Just because some behind the scnes manipulations occured, the poor common man of India who enjoys the game of cricket to forget his daily woes should not be punished.
After all this is one of indians rare experience of joy.Millions of indians wathched ipl with passions, peopel glued to tvs to watch these games even on road side TV sets.
Punish the guilty who ever it is. But the game should go on and indians or for that matter cricket lovers across the world should not be deprived of enjoyong the game.

even the ppl during 1999 series of ind-sa glued tot he tv set, that doesnt mean that the series wasnt fixed
even this ipl tourney itself is a stage mannaged show.
Common man should not worry about the explanations BCCI is providing. The reason why som much corruption is becuase indeed the common man is watching the IPL, leaving his work in office to a stand still. Why can't we just stop watching this junk and spend quality time with our families instead...This should solve the problem...isn't it?
Any amount of explanation by the BCCI high-ups will not convince the common man. Before appointing Shri Lalit Modi, also the Vice-President of BCCI, as Commissioner, IPL, they should have known all about him, particular the 'behaviour' issues. He has been on the BCCI Board; there was no behavioural problem. How did it crop up suddenly? As for irregularities in bids, it is difficult to believe that BCCI was not aware of these earlier. The best thing now would be to scrap IPL at least until it comes clean of all the charges of misadministration. It will not be morally right for an organisation to conduct any major tournament when it is under cloud.
if modi wanted to make money he could have done so with his home grown one but he chased fame more and the politicians and the 'low profiles' in IPL and BCCI who were far too jealous back stabbed him

Lalit Modi studied for a sports management degree at North Carolina's Duke University Business School in the United States.
While a student there he was convicted of kidnapping and assault.
A spokeswoman for the North Carolina courts told the BBC that Modi received a two-year suspended jail sentence and a $10,000 fine in June 1985 after entering a plea bargain.

I am not a messiah and its not my job to expose the crooks. I just wanted to point out that Modi is a born crook
BCCI GOVERNING COUNCIL... hell of a title for a bunch of incompetent fellows!!! If Lalit Modi took them for a ride for three years, what were they doing... sleeping or just enjoying the ride?
