Wonder how much he has/will paid/pay to Pawar for this post, otherwise tell me how he can be a deserving candidate for this post? Pawar is shameless creature on earth.

Obviously you don't know about Amin. He is very respected person in that part of the world and highly regarded by people in that region. His family has done a lot for the people in that district.

This man is clean and they got right man for the job. The question is wether he can keep up with Powar and his goons...

Well said. I do remember a test match between India and Pakistan played at Chennai., where Pakistan won the match. The spectors gave them standing ovation., where was really moved Wasim Akram., in an interview, he told that it was his most memorable movement in his life.

Mukesh Ambani
by MumbaiChhokra on Apr 26, 2010 11:53 PM  | Hide replies

I was really impressed with Mukesh Ambani's leadership skills and down to earth nature.
When Sachin got out in final,he was giving standing oviation. Speaks simplicity of this man.
Also,at the time of presentation, instead of being one of the honorary on the dias,he chose to stand with the team.
I know many of us will start saying that Reliance is cheat and so on and so forth, but I'm just talking about Mukesh Ambani. I'm really impressed with him.

Salute to him !!!!

Mukesh will clap even after Sachin drops 100 catches and gets out for zero. You know why? because that's the right thing to do or there will be riots by those blinded Sachin worshippers.. Media and Manus have made Sahin a living God..

Not just Mukesh but any owner of that team would have done the same...

With such brains, we are never going to prosper. Such goof plays on both sides.. Give a credit to Man who atleast got his job done by making IPL the Global event. The brits and Aussies are jealous of IPL and trying their best to stop the growth of this event..

Unless you can do better, why keep calling name to that man?

IPL will be a utter failure after MODI''s exit.
Wait and watch.
Which top order Player will come forward to play if it is not worth.
Which top sponsors like Vijay Mallya, Mukesh Ambanni will come forward to take Franchaisies.
Wait and watch.

YOU ARE RIGHT, Agreed 100% modi is corrupt but so are we.

He made enormous efforts to sell IPL to many biggies and worked beyond what a usual person will do.

He made money, fine, so will others.

WHY ARE WE PRETENDING TO BE SURPRISED
by such jano on Apr 26, 2010 11:13 PM  | Hide replies

Are not we all collectively an inherently corrupt and dishonest society?

Why do we all pretend to be extremely honest and person of integrity in public when in private we all are thieves and will not miss any opportunity to make money in not so nice ways.

Lets just move on, at least the show is good, IPL is great, perhaps pride of India. Modi made some money but he built the IPL as well, now lets have someone else make some money as per the system we have in india but the show must go on and improve.

Only sane discussion please, if you have something solid to put forward.
