Abhishek Nayar- The rotten mango
by Ria Jadhav on Apr 26, 2010 09:45 AM  | Hide replies

Why on the earth did MI team management send Abhishek Nayar at no. 3? He is just 2matches old in this IPL. Why was Saurabh Tiwary who is in good form was not send at his usual position? also, who's idea it was to send Harbhajan Singh at no. 4 after Abhishek got out? What a time to experiment the batting order! IT IS A SHAME. Being a die hard fan of MI I feel very sad, not because we have lost it, but the way in which we changed our batting line up and done a chaos. Congrats to CHENNAI SK.

These same guys will then say that Srikanth is biased and does not take Abhishek Nayar in Indian T20 team.. Iam afraid Abhishek is fit for only Ranji Trophy as it is not just talent but attitude and mental toughness that is needed for international matches

I only agree with part that he plays more for personal records than team.
So that costs team sometimes.

Those are people who cant make it in their own region. They do well and become rich in Mumbai - but doesnt mean they will have class - like class you need to applaud the opposition when they play good cricket.

Money can buy you a house in Bandra and Bolywood starlets, but not class.

Chennai - best team (they won the trophy). Best Supporters and also won the fair play award. Class.

Just like bowlers are given a maximum of 4 overs to bowl, the batsman should also be given only 24 balls to face. that will make the match more intersting.
