I guess without the hype which Modi is capable of generating, IPL will be a flop. Modi knows the league and its business generating potential by heart. Without Modi, IPL will not survive. Only he can pull such a stunt. No one else can do it. It would be simply impossible for anyone to take on such a wide gamut of CAs, businessmen, politicians, actors, and run the show. He is showman.

There are stories circulating that IPL was Modi's dream this has been more so preached by Modi himself and his glamour surrounding like priety zinta, shilpa shetty and shahrukh khan and Mallya.
IPL was a copy of ICL and ICL copied the pattern from western football leagues and the english county cricket.
Modi's baby / dream etc was making allegedly fraud money for himself.

It is all nice to say that, but the fact remains modi make the IPL a global brand, for which he deserves credit.

Modi does have personality and attitude issues. There are no doubts whatsoever that he has been instrumental in getting IPL conceptualized, but for doing one good thing, you can not allow someone to mess plenty of ohers.
His dictatorial ways of functioning and making IPL an unnecessary place liable for girls, bear, trading and betting ground, could only be seen as an uncontreolled personal faults. The IPL per se is huge, it never warranted to include dancing girls, serving liquor and several other AYYASHI modules.
Moreover, he also captrued a bad habbit of tweeting. Thnalgod he did not tweet the personal oves so far. He tweeted that he will not entertain any governing council meeting till yestrday, and today he licked his own spit of twitter. MODI HAS TO GO and probably behind the bars for assiting collusive bidding and bringing IPL to a ground for BENAMI investments. Moreover, BCCI needs to be derecognized as a society and asked to be run as a professional TAX PAYEEING organization. ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

All ipl structure is copied from ICL just what microsoft copied from Mac... No way modi can take the credit of forming ipl. These big heads started to combat the rising icl and we know how they shrunck the icl. Modi must go now and icl should also be recognized.. If u say ipl entertainment and not a cricket then why bann icl? all BCCI to be sacked
Lalit Modi has caught Pawar and his NCP cronies caught with their pants down by his master stroke to attend the GC meeting tomorrow. Ultimately, all will be buried under the carpet because even bigwigs from Sonia Congress is part of IPL gate.

You are absolutely right. Nothing is going to come out. Everything will be compromised. We are fools following this melodrama.
Everyone is involved in this racket including Pawar, Patel, BJP, Congress and Sonia.
Now the booty will be shared among all criminals (Congress, BJP and NCP) and nothing is going to come out of the investigation.
We will continue to witness such daylight robberies as a mute spectator. We will hail Modi as a great leader and he will appear on all media with a smile.
