SRK wants publicity and Bengalees accept only Ganguly. In the majority of his innings he starts with 4 dot balls, hits one four again 2 dot balls, hits one four, again one dot ball. Thus scoring 8 runs in 8 balls. A chapel, More, Vengsarkar, Srikanth and Buchanan are not fools to drop this fellow but Bongs will not watch any match without him. KKR would have won matches without this fellow and replacing him with Laxmi Ratan Sukla would have produced better results. Both Dravid and McCullum facecthe same problem and they lost crucial matches with the inclusion of this fellow.
I really feel pity for Sachin. As a leader you should learn one thing, you alone should not play , others should play for you as well. 1. Bhaju lbw [ bad luck ] 2. Poor stroke from you [ i never seen you playing when you are down the wicket, that should have gone miles ] 3. Nayar not able to blast the Ashwin over, even i can play when plenty of overs in hand 4. Khan - please do field practice, you really dont know how to catch the ball. i think he got i nto match fixing. 5. Dhoni you are awesome you know where to set the fielders for the players, except for sachin, if you know how to handle then you are the master blaster. 6. if i am not wrong csk should have all out for 120, poor MI 7. trust me , you do not have luck as a leader.

Actually everything went wrong for MI >they choked really .they should have continued with Ambatti ,tiwary ,Pollard ,JP .Instead they tried Abhishek Nayaar who is actually a panauti .Last IPL also he lost a match to RR . MI could have done better than changing all batting order .MI actually made it simpler for CSK to win also with two dropped catches one after the other ( also involved the panauti Abhishek nayaar)

It is not luck alone. Sachin gets nervous and it affects his thinking. He is not a great captain esp under pressure. Chennai deserved it. You are making serious assumptions f you think Chennai would have been all out for 120. MI choked pretty bad under pressure which they are known to do. They like batting first.
Mumbai Indians are good enough to fix all league matches to keep them alive in the tournament. They were successful in Semifinal fixes too. But when it mattered finals, they were not able to convince CSK for loosing the match since it is headed by MSD. Hence MI played a natural game in finals and lost unfortunately. Pitty Mumbai Indians and its supporters. !:(:(:(:(
Well Done Chennai. You were a team that thoroughly deserved the Trophy ( Loads of local talent..not just thriving on Foreign players ), ofcourse led by a Calm, Cool, Determined, Confident Bold, Iconic, Esteemed Captain in MS Dhoni !!
Needed to win 6 of the final 7 matches to atleast think of the Semis !!
To rise from a calamity is indeed the test of character...and thats what MSD and boys did. Did'nt they rise to the Occasion wonderfully ?
On the other hand...the losing (NOISY ) team, had a rosy path all along, not experiencing the hard paths..and..Did'nt they stutter and stumble under a confused captain ???
Hello Chennai...this is just the first of many more IPL Trophies you are destined to Win !!!!!!

I doubt they deserve. MI deserved it because they forget the basic Catches win Matches

lol. MI chokes. That is known. MI reaching Semi finals itself is a miracle. Doing well in league matches is a different thing compared to knockouts. Even in ipl2 they choked in league stage when it came to a do or die situation. Chennai lost lots of matches due to their bad fielding and poor bowling but finally they turned it around.

Very true. They could have won in IPL1 as well but for that nervous drop by raina. But RR capitalized on it and rightly so.
I think Tendulkar erred badly by not sending Pollard up the order. Surely, if he had sent Kieron Pollard right after Harbhajan got out or at least after Rayudu, results could have been diffferent. Surely Pollard should have come before JP Duminy (6 of 7 balls) and Saurabh Tiwardy (0 of 2 balls). Then Pollard had more time and balls to change the result. Tendulkar had sent Pollard just 3 over before finish, at a time when match was out of Mumbai's hand; although Pollard made valiant attempt but it was too late for him to recover his team from that lost situation. Surely, Tendulkar is one of the best batsman in the world but his captaincy is always found wanting. Also Tendulkar quite often fails to make an impact in big matches.

Pollards a hitter of the ball... he aint good against spin atack... we all know this... infact MI players were all expecting Seamer/Fast attack.. but a slow spin attack from CSK proved fatal.. the wicket became slow due to soo many matches being played... and it was getting only slower with some turn... which proved a bit deadly for the players to time it...A seamer/fast ball comes on to bat fine and you need to direct it.. but a slow spin... you need to wait... read it... and then hit it right... which takes away energy...

you guys think it was an err that pollard did not get in the beginning, that does not make sense for me because , see how dhoni able to handle pollard, close mid off caught him, he could have out by that way before. STRONG ERROR IS CATCH MISS BY KHAN

I agree with the logic that Pollard needed more balls. But Pollard can't play spinners. How can we assume that he wouldn't be out to a spinner without any impact at all? They tried something and it didn't work.
I think the bigger error was to send Nayar and Bhajji ahead of Tiwary and Rayudu. Tiwary was in good form and he was also scoring at a good strike rate. With Tiwary instead of Nayar, Sachin would have been more comfortable to just rotate the strike and hit a boundary when opportunity presents itself. Bad decisions cost MI. But CSK picking 3 spinners forced those bad decisions. Congrats CSK.

Hind sight is always right. It did not make any difference whether sardar came before A or BHe lasted 6 deliveries.Let us not discuss Pollard Whether he opened or came no 5 or 6 would not have made any difference CSK spinners really bowled very very well in final Look at their Eco rate that will settle all debates
