remove IPL because today generation in young blood they d't concentrate on studies. it has period of students exams in that times ipl running they can run on june r july why not any way they r doing money not improvement all IPL GC and BCCI GC are dogs of our nation
no one else in bcci has the vision or capability to create something like ipl.. even prior to ipl, it was modi's own skills that made bcci revenues sky rocket.. bcci or ipl is not modi's personal property.. everyone is jointly involved in all proceedings at diff levels. now they just want the ipl sans modi.. cause the ipl is set and established
BCCI is a private body. all franchaisee's are private entitites. What's wrong with Modi having shares in all frachisees ? What Modi has done is doing is happening in all Private companies. I do not know why media is giving undue importance to the happenings in a private company. Please bother more about the products we consume, water medicine food etc. COncentrate more on the happening in those companies as the quality there directly affects us. IPL is like WWF, its shoe do not take it seriously.

Not that I am a fan of Modi, but the constitution of India states that you are innocent until proven guilty. The onus of proof lies with the complainant, not the defendant.
There are stories circulating that IPL was Modi's dream this has been more so preached by Modi himself and his glamour surrounding like priety zinta, shilpa shetty and shahrukh khan and Mallya.
IPL was a copy of ICL and ICL copied the pattern from western football leagues and the english county cricket.
Modi's baby / dream etc was making allegedly fraud money for himself.

ICL was not successful because BCCI created hurdles to it by banning players who played for ICL and also ICC recognised IPL only because it was BCCI venture.

Dude i think you are the retard. think abt a person who only paid 5 laks as tax last yr and this yr has already paid 8 crores advance tax and he does not have any source for this income. he owns shell companies which owns a private jet and a private yatch( already proven). under investigation for match fixing using Sameer thukral. Has family members who own shares of IPL when people like Anil Ambani(not Mukesh) could not buy and Modis justification is that his family invested when nobody was ready( there were a lot of ppl ready i can think of 4 names on the spot). I genuinely appreciate and revere success made by hardwork, be it narayana Murthy, Dhirubhai Ambani, Richard Branson, Vijaya Mallya or Sachin Tendulkar. People like you just jump into the bandwagon without thinkin of repurcussions. Further you say that only allegations have been made. On the contrary most of the facts have already been established against modi and its a matter of time before he falls. all his efforts now are to secure a cushion as thick as possible for his fall.

Sandhya, if you know corporate financing, you won't raise this question. Big companies invest in long-term businesses and suffer loss initially. Dependign on when they are booking loss and when they are booking profits, they would have to pay tax. So it does not surprise me, if he paid a tax of just 9 lacs. He may also have paid zero tax, if more losses were booked. Besides, there might be some capital gains from sales of some of his properties, which is not getting reflected here. So, 9 lacs to 33 crores is just a deferrment of payment may be through completely legal escrow accounting systems.
