It was just a reflex where some catches come in hand and sometimes it doesnt. Agreed he took a long jump at the edge of boundary taking the samis catch. But the catch by manish pandey of abhishek nayar where is stretched horizontally instead of vertically in kemp case, was good.

I would say this is rubbish. It's easy to jump horizontally from your place or with min foot work but you can't jump vertically from your position and you always have to time ur jump very correctly.
Ask anybody, I can jump easily in Horizontal position taking overhead catch itself a amazing one and jumping in Boundary is extra ordinary others are pretty ordinary

yes. cricinfo made a comparison for Today preview. RCB full of SA including SA coach and DC full of Aussie including Aussie coach???

He is almost 2M height and he is jumping at the boundary lime almost more than 1M and taking the catch above his Head single handily on the wrong side. He fall down very well inside the Rope.
I never ever imagine such Catch can be taken at real time. Amazing. I would say any other Fielder in the world even Jackie can't catch that ball

agreed it was 1M high and such catches can only be taken in single hand. It was we can say a luck that where he dropped was just inches away from rope.
His hieght was a huge factor in it. But I wont say it as a best catch just because such catches sometimes comes in hand blindly and he had a luck factor dropping just inside the boundary rope
