I like Mallya simply because of the fact that he is one corporate tycoon who contributed to sport especially formula 1. Ofcourse he has clear business interest..He should have..no problem there..The biggest issue here is that he is involved with 100% con who rigged sport for the past 4 years..Mallya didn't show the same respect towards Shashi Tharoor, a person whose reputation is built internationally over 30 years..He should have cautioned his good friend Modi. It is all the more clear now that Modi/Pawar/Patel played a dirty game to corner Shashi Tharoor.
Kapil Dev, he will be very happy at the crisis IPL is facing today, bcoz, it was his idea initially to start such a format (ICL), but there was not much scope for corruption there, so these bigwigs didn't allow it to take off. When the same idea in the name of IPL, with great opportunities for corruption was put forward by Lalit, they just pounced on it.
imagine this guys gall - literally stating "because Lalit is my friend...give him some leeway". Round up all these hooligans and throw them in jail. Enough is enough.

Malya has clearly said that let the investigations be over and then we can take action if there is any wrongdoing and u call it rubbish? What is wrong with that?

So on what basis you want action to be taken against modi? Just because you and grandson don't like his face and cricket?

Re: Sushama not asking Arun Jetley to speak against sharad pawar?
by Rakesh Dandekar on Apr 24, 2010 04:36 PM
yes she is right because the BJP hands also with this corruption and in particular Arub Jettley. Sushma must hve received smallar percent then Arun Jattley. There is something in Black in dal
Modi is guilty of public intimidation, insinuation, defamation, nepotism, blatant corruption, money laundering and the list is endless. The guys days are numbered. He'll soon be in a slammer with his behind pummelled by fags. While we're at it, Govt should raid all the major corporate moguls like Ambani's, Mallya and the filmi junkies.
Re: and what tharoor - he shouldn't defend himself?
by Sun on Apr 24, 2010 04:32 PM
Bro......... Yes he is guilty of all things you said, but the only thing is that he has got huge money power. Moreover if starts singing half the parliament will be empty. So he will be rapped on the knuckles and behave himself.

Talk about Pawar, Patel & Sule who are already linked to this ...
Talk about Rajiv Shukla who is BCCI vice president, who is a Congi MP.
why beat around the bush ... Why are you so annoyed with the fiasco ?? becoz it exposed the govt & its ministers ...
Never be loyal to a political party ... they will sell you for peanuts next day !!

who is being named from BJP in the current IPL-gate ??
Vasundhara Raje ... if her name is there, definitely she will be called for the enquiry ...
Whats great about BJP ? They had their own share in Bangaru Laxman and such ....
but thats not the excuse for the current govt to run away from this ...
They won't go far with this enquiry ... they will never push the envelope otherwise, their govt will fall in Maha ... which is a steep price !!

If congress was protective, they would not have done any raid on IPL office or BCCI

i am sure congress will show door, if Rajiv Shukla found guilt. they did to many party leader in the past. be it natward singh, magret alva, arjun singh, tiwari or tharoor

it's very clear that cricket in our country is run by politicians only. Presidents of almost all the cricket body in all the states in India are headed by politicians. Pawar at Mumbai, Jaitely at Delhi, Narendra Modi at Gujarat, Farooq in Jammu & Kashmir etc. I don't understand what are they doing here. Why they are interested in top most positions in cricket? Can anyone throw some lights?

Mr. Prasanthkumar, it is not only top most positions in cricket that politicians are interested. LIQUOR, MINING, INFRASTRUCTURE, HOUSING, anything connected with lot of money, they are there like like magnet attracts the filings
