better options are still available like tiwari, rayudu, naman ojha, etc....uthapa has been a tried lot and fails to perform on big ocassions as seen in the last few matches...further he is neither a finisher nor a match winner...he may click in two of 10 matches which is why he is suited only for ipl

India is big country, we have place for only15, selectors have picked on their faith, let us see uttappa makes his way by selection , not on eleeminatio ..Udaya shankar-Canada
Ray Jennigs surprised now, but we as a Indian surprised many times…. First we surprised when 30 member probable lists announced, Uthappa and Ifran was not in the list. As both are the best in their slots and in Irfan’s case he was in best form in last season domestic matches with bat and bowl. Then we saw 4 wicket keepers in the list as sacrificed two best players.
Like that many more in the current 15 may not justify the selection, but still in team,…. It’s all about politic and its India….. You can see many more as last year we surprised with early exists from WC…. And this time?????
Need a transparency in all areas , specially team selection , its all fixed and ridicules….and its money business not sprit of good cricket or good form of players, need an investigation on selectors as well

players are not selected by single person..its a panel that selects the team..its not a one man show..uthappa and irfan got so many chances but couldn't play well for their selection..only surprise is rohit's selection
one uthappam cannot change whole series..its a team game..if its true, why bangalore couldn't go to finals..there is no slot for him..thats it..when current players dont play well, he will be selected soon..i personally feel, he is better than rohit
I understand many people are angry since he is left out of the team. But, it is not possible to have him in the team at all. Player can be selected in squad of final 15 players if he was part of first 30 players. Uthappa was not playing well before IPL so he was not being selectd in first 30 players, so Indian selector can't chose him in final 15.

the selectors r really partial............wen they selected the squad, they missed out utthappa who had already hit 2 50s till then but picked up rohit sharma who was proving 2 b flop show till then
