Hopif was the first out fit to bring to the knowledge of all concerned that IPL is "Un constitutional" & accordingly we are happy that remedial and corrective measures have been taken by the concerned agencies, so far.with out JPC's observations.
Be that as it may,Hopif seeks the help f the Honorable chairman of the 'Rajya Saba"to further strengthen our hands in converting the IPL to" e-pl", in terms of ecological inputs such as green Bats, Roof top solar Stadiums, Energy saving in each state by playing only in the evenings & still arrange to bridge the gap between friendly & enemy countries by issuing visa for all the cheer leaders ,to effectively support the team.especially played in India.
Eco Players League will be registered under LLC pattern unlike IPL under Society Act, to show Non-Profit, to the BCCI or to the Government.
Hopif would like to frame in such a way that e-pl is having no country barrier and accordingly go with the franchisee already selected by the IPL after dissolving the IPL,for its Miss deeds by the competent authority , with the Presidential assent( For Eg;MCI to quote.)
Hopif will host the e-pl, in arrangement with BCCI, where in shall pay rentals, Taxes, Duties Royalties as per FEMA under RBI Guidelines.
Hopif seeks the support of Honorable Chairman of "RS" to immediately form a committee , in the interest of continu
This IPL was built by stealing the idea of ZTV's ICL. The BCCI had made its own rules and laws by teh support of the UPA government to make the ICL finally quit. They started as if the whole India belongs like the UPA and making the laws of there own. They banned the players in IPL to participate in International Cricket. Who are they to do so? But, the BCCI did this. Now, the curse is haunting the IPL and BCCI. Now the BCCI says IPL is not its body and they are not involved. If so why did they ban the ICL players to participate in International Cricket? Is there any one to ask them in the court now? The UPA and BCCI are responsible for the fall of ICL which was doing all without any match fixing. The ICC said ICL may fix the matches and hence they cannot take it under ICC. Now what ICC says about the IPL? There are reports that many matches in IPL II were fixed. Does the ICC close the IPL now or does it still recognize the IPL? This is teh law in India since UPA. They make laws to withdraw cases against criminals who support them to get into power etc. They still say they are for Amm Admi and anti-corrupt.

YES. True sports loving men will definetly does not agree to commercialse any sport. Sponsorship is different commercialising is different. IPL made the cricket glamourous event and killed the sports in it. All these are to kill ICL, they killed the cricket itself.
IPL gate will bring the worst of all. AC Muthaiah egoistic maniac is a part of Modi camp as enemy's enemy is a friend. Modi is Srinivasan's enemy, who is an enemy of AC Muthaih. Stinking politics.

Srinivasan " looks " corrupt ? The world at large needs your service. Sign up for the Government or CBI today !
Here we have IPL in its 3rd season and pouring in lots of monies for every one involved and great entertainment cricket lovers around the world. And then comes Lalit Modi and Shashi Tharoor who behave like infants fighting over a lollipop. And then the politicians join to make, what was touted as the world's most successful tournament, look completely messy. As a nation, we cannot seem to accept another person's success and we need to pull him down from his pedestal, whether we get on to it or not is totally immaterial, but our enemy has to be pulled down as any ordinary and lesser mortal. What a disgusting mindset! Am not for one moment supporting Mody but that's the bitter truth what is stated earlier awhile ago.
Muthiah from the Wallajah Roadend, marking his run up. Srinivasan taking guard and asking for the Muniyadi Vilas Middle stump from Umpire PS Raman. It promises to be an absobing contest between two veterans!!!

The whole of triplicane stink from Couum canal where Muthia's father's named stadium is situated!!
with all TV channels showing only IPL scam , let us have a new channel named as IPL SAM TV . Pls save me from this repeated telecast of IPL scam on every TV channel . I am told that dropping one catch the fielder gets rich by Rs 1 Crore !
The too pro-active steps of the Govt. shows age old vindictive attitude of Congress. A Govt. which otherwise takes month to wake up on any issue has deployed all their important ministers in finding some fault with Lalit Modi. The Govt. is using IT Dept., DRI and all other agencies without any reservation. I heard from today's news that Govt. has made a committee of Home Minister and Finance Minister to study various lapses in IPL.
Modi should be punished if he has made mistakes. But the over eagerness being shown by the Govt proves that they frantically want to nail Modi by whatever means i.e if not by hook, by crook. Any one who dares to cross the path of Congress must pay for it. That seems to be the attitude.
This is a fascist mentality and should be condemned by everyone who has faith in democracy.
This is not expected from a thorough gentleman like MMS who is known for his balanced views.

First you must take a balanced look at this. This is a huge scam and it looks every one who is involved in IPL has a lot to hide. Modi has obviously done a lot of curruption, amounting to thousands of crores and a lot of things about the franchisees needs to be checked as well. There is mis use of power and corruption at every level of IPL and it has zero transparancy and accountability. If govt. of India doesnt wake up now, god save Indians. Modi is clearly a criminal, womanizer and totally corrupt. Who is he to have complete control of thousands of crores and still have zero accountabilty?
