poor selections..by MI and RCB
by Dhantannan on Apr 22, 2010 03:19 PM  | Hide replies

MI should not have picked duminy.
instead bravo/jayasuriya is better.
similarly in place of out of form kallis, white should been picked and pande should have opened.

RCB should have played Reolf Merve (Left arm spin) instead of Kallis. Chasing 180 is always risk. And always 1 or batsmen are wasted in RCB line-up. Either due to not getting a chance, or due to too high (un attainable) required run rate. They don't understand that a bowler extra will always help than other way. They never learn.

MI can affort to carry an extra batsman in Duminy. He is a good fielder.

because they are expert in fixing the venue, if its bangalore they wouldn't even scored a single run, ..................................because it rained heavily in bangalore, now u know why rcb lost, its becaause of venue disadvantage, hope everyone agree with me

Both teams played on the same pitch, same field. Lots of matches (7) were played earlier than semi on the same pitch. So there is no home venue 'secret'. More over All local players also played domestic or international matches in this stadia before. Venue disadvantage is just a 'beer'wash for Mallya and his team.

as u may not be aware ... in case there would have been rain..and match would have washed out...then MI was automatically qualified as per IPL rules...more points than RCB gr8 NRR...so it was good for game of cricket and its fans to have match in Mum

Winners always cheat. So as sachin. Claiming grounded catches. Absolute CHEATER is the other name of Sachin and his unknown face.

Indian team for West indies...
by tiju thomas on Apr 22, 2010 11:56 AM  | Hide replies

it is ridiculous that,Soravthiwary,Rayudu,Robin and probably Naman Ohja got dropped..Fuuny replacements are Fart Jadeja(he cannt do big shots like even rayudu)inconsistant Rohit sharma,Yousuf pathan is useless against Class fast bowlers,he will do some fart there. While Uthappa can hit any class bowlers.Naman ojha was unlucky coz with dhoni and karthik so he became third choice.......

Over Confident CSK supporters beware of Deccan.
CSK and Deccan both had been in similar situation in league stage, eventually played knock out matches
Both are weak in bowling department.
And so 50/50

Well Done MI
by Sara on Apr 22, 2010 10:31 AM  | Hide replies

I was wathing post match discussion of Siddhuism in TV, he said it was batting order that led the defeat. there was no reason to send Dravid & Kallis the two slow starter to open the match with the target of 185. Plus RCB has too many high profile palyers thats all some times hard to control. See the peiterson after getting run out by kohli how he misbehaved with him this shows the arrogance. but the team where juniors are palying with high profile capatain, like MI,Rajashthan,Deccan then there is no clash of ego.Can Saurabh, Raydu,Polard can show any arrogance in front of Sachin, of course not. but in RCB- the case is diffrent , they spoiled Manish Pandey batting order.kohli should have given some more respect.in totallity it was captaincy that failed yesterday.

RCB and CSK had same 14 points. NRR of RCB was 0.22, CSK's is 0.29. If RCB had more, they would have got 3rd place and played against DC. That way atleast they would have had a chance to make to semis.

With this background, if we see Kohli's behavior, it looks very childish. Peterson was planning to finsh match within 15 overs. Coz of Kohli, RCB took 2.1 overs extra. They were very crucial!!!!! Kohli has lots to learn.

with zero contribution from sachin MI won the semi final. Same thing will happen in final also since sachin is not a big game player unlike gilli who single handedly won ipl2 final. It is good for MI if sachin pa takes rest for final any how orrange cap is going to adorn kallis head.

Robin's issue
by Bala on Apr 22, 2010 10:17 AM

This is the main issue with Robin. He may not click when it really matter.
Dear Robin,
Now you may be realizing the reason why you are out of ICC t20 sqad. Few good knocks are enough to secure a seat. What you lack is consistancy.
