What ever is happenning now is a great disappointment to cricket lovers. The Government could have waited atleast till the IPL CRICKET matches are over, before indulging in this mud slinging with Modi. The Government (and the media) is so unmindful of the impact this tussle, has on the world community, people will look at IPL matches with suspicion. Should India not be proud of a match like IPL, a world class sporting event and protect it; should not Government investigate Modi discreetly, far away from the media glare. The Government has let down the cricket lovers, and shown itself in a poor light to the world community, with this kind of brash action. This is nothing but washing dirty linen in public. When are we going to be a matured democracy?

People will look at IPL with suspicion is like saying people will look at smugglers with suspicion. Well, they should if the numbers thrown out by all these raids are true.
If there is a loot going on, it needs to be exposed no matter what the international community thinks of it.
The sane investors of the world will take it with great respect for Indian legal and judicial activism. India needs good money entering the nation and not tainted money. Those who would get scared by this kind of an expose' are the tainted ones. And yes, they should.
There is an article in times of India chennai edition today... it says about Female umpires in IPL matches! It also says that females will can boss over the players sending crooked one out if they misbehave and add to that it says that players like Harbajan, Symonds will behave if there is a female umpire involved. I dont think these guys will be kept quiet because of a female umpire. If you have watch the match yesterday, Harbajan grab Nitu's a$$ and life her! I think if a female umpire gives a decision in favour of him what is the gaurentee that he will not do the same thing to the umpire! Grab her a$$ and life her up? Symoonds I dont know much about him when it comes to female but there is a likeleehood that he may lift the female umpire and go directly to the team hotel if he wins the match. Gilli may probably flirt with heron field with the help of Rohit Sharma. I dont who all have to be watched if they deploy female umpires for an IPL match? Yuvaraj, Dhoni, Bret lee, Sreeshanth, RP Singh, David warner??? gilli ??? and the list goes on!

At last, that's what is going to happen. That's especially when politicians & business tycoons are involved. Modi's defiant stand indicates only that. Probably he is confident that anything which antegonises him, may roll out more skeletons from the cupboard. Certain actions of IT sleuths may boomerang on the powers that be as things indicate now. In a way, banning of Subash Chandra's Indian Cricket League, has indirectly helped not only Subash but also Kapil Dev, Who now stands tall today.

Because if IT people will raid these 2, they will find documets related to congress scams of illegal liquior business, petrol scam. Thats the reason pranav has asked his men to raid only other teams.

Hey, that's a very good question. Even bigger question is - assuming a guy from humble middle-class (that's the history that Subrata Roy brags about) is to start a business venture with whatever pittance he has got. How long would it take for him to create an empire that boasts of media, real estate, airlines, etc? All this when the company is not even public limited with any joint stock holding. So we are to assume that Subrat Roy is getting returns on his own individual money and some borrowed money.
What is the source of Subrata Roy's wealth when almost all the ventures have not even broken even. So there is no way for him to even be able to pay back the interest to the lenders to his venture.
