If Ganguly is dropped from the next IPL, even that will become an issue for the Bengal assembly to discuss.

Buddy, did Kolkata fans call for an IPL ban. Talk some sense. Whether sourav does well or not, it hardly bothers the commies. For a commie, profit is a dirty word and all rich people have accumulated wealth through dishonest means! As I said, these guys would never improve, neither would they allow to come up.
If KKR would have been in Semis or Final...Kanti Ganguly would have never spoke these words. Since you are not getting the money share from it, you are complaining.....shame on you.

What has KKR as a team gotta do with it? I am hearing the murmurs of ban IPL in Mumbai also, even after MI is in finals! Regarding the money part, who'd give money to Commie party even if KKR advanced to SF? So, pls talk sense and dont spread unneccessary hatred here!

Then you would take the role of Kanti Ganguly and say that IPL should be banned. Why you people are so provincial and always refer KKR I just can not understand. It is a national problem yaar...all we should proceed forgetting our regional differences to eradicate this problem of corruption not only in IPL but everywhere...

I support RBC but dont agree with your above comment of fixing...dont talk like a fool without anything to support.
Ban Left parties 1st then ban IPL. left parties r a shame 2 this country who has got bacward n narrow mind for everythng. Left parties r slaves of China & always dance on their tunes.
IPL no doubt has given a lot of entertainment and has unearthed many a talents but the league in return is not only hampering the game but also is becoming a major reason for players getting injured and abstaining from national duties, which orelse is their prime objective. Can we give less importance to the world cup just for the sake of IPL ??
When politicians are able to loot Indian citizens' money.... why not an ordinary citizen do....?
survival of the fittest.......but at the end of the day, we should remember that it is our country so we can do whatever we want but not at the cost of others....
At any cost this IPL should be banned otherwise the common public will loose his hardly earned money in betting and this IPL will ruin ODI and Test Cricket.

You have betting on practically everything in India. And who has invited the 'common public' to bet his hard earned money ? And mind you IPL is a TAMASHAA & not serious Cricket.
Re: Re: Yes;it should be banned

IPL is not tamasha, but our cricketers because IPL taking national duties as tamasha

You have gone crazy..... The IPL has generated 300 crores of tax to the Indian Govt. By the way there is no question of the money from common man being looted coz it is a private affair and no money from the common man's pocket is used. Instead all the black money from the rich is comming out to some use atleast. We should actuaaly focus more on the corrupt politicians who eat our hard earned money! IPL has made India proud....so wat if some people have made money out of it.....in India someone or the the other is going to make money.... atleast the IPL has given chance to so many cricketers in India.... and has brought so much pride and honour to our country!!

Do you know that betting goes on everyday on the number of squares in the overcoat worn by the common man in RK Laxman's cartoon strip in Times of India ? What do you propose to do about it ? Ban Times of India and imprison RK Laxman for life ?
