How come Rajastan Royal win the first title?
by South Indian on Apr 21, 2010 01:02 PM  | Hide replies

Likely betting and match fixing.
Modi boughtthis team quite cheap and its players were all not that top guys.. but they went on to make it.. The betting companies in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Jaipur made a lot and Modi was involved.

RAID BCCI .
by zainul sayed on Apr 21, 2010 12:22 PM  | Hide replies

Dear IT guys, yesterday Pawar had meeting with Pranab and Chidambaram and must have conveyed to them a strong message of taking off the support to UPA if his offices are searched or questioned ! So I think you may be asked to go slow on the IPL proceedings.Actually, you guys should also raid all BCCI offices as well as all state cricket assn offices simultaniously so that all the politicians involved and their misdeeds will come to the fore. Demand an audit of all the accounts at all the BCCI as well as state assns activities and use of funds right from day one of Pawar taking over BCCI and see, you guys will be happy to add thousands of crores of rupees to govt treasury.
I had written 2 days back that the Same Pawar who was singing praises of Modi will bring his down fall and will wash off his hands from all the wrong doings at BCCI as well as IPL. Exactly the same thing happened, but let me tell you I suspect the entire Pawar clan as well as all the politicians involved in BCCI as well as IPL have made huge money and all should be brought to the books, let the countrymen know how bad are our politicians, how they loot the Aam Admis's hard earned money , how Aam Admi is managing his family paying very high prices of food grains and milk, without power and water with expensive education fees, go by the history of parliament any ministry held by Pawar has always put the country in trouble as well as losses of thousands of crores of rupees. JAI HIND .

Sayad, This raid on private companies is a clear indication that they decided to not to target the politicians. Nothing will come out. It will be another Khoda scam.

Sharad Pawar is one of the craftiest and wiliest politicians the nation has produced. He sure knows how to play games and when to set the ball rolling to get his things done. Why just India, the whole world is in the midst of problems from price rise to climate change, terrorism, violence, and all sorts of problems.

About Viru ...
by response query on Apr 21, 2010 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

IPL debate is going on....
But Times of India reported today that Viru is out of T20 world cup due to shoulder injury...Second time in a row he got injured just before the start of T20 world cup like as in 2009 just after their IPL chances are over...
Anyway Murali Vijay has been selected in place of him ...that's a good decision because he along with the Sachin and Raina are the Top 3 Scorer in IPL 2010...

As a matter of fact Sharad Pawar is a witty politician but this time he got trapped in web of Pranab Daa.Whtaever anybody may say but without any doubt it is Sharad Pawar who was real benefactor from Modi's activities.
He had plan to bail out Mr.Lalit Modi but after going through Tapes (Conversation) he had to change his mind. The 3 politicans who are reffred in recordings are Mr.Sharad Pawar,Mr.Chaggan VBhujbal & Mr.Narinder Modi.It is better if we pin down not only Modi but Mr.Pawar as well.

pappaiy one small correction, you're perhaps the only guy to have referred to sharad pawar as "witty" ! he has a profile tailor made for "save the hippo" poster. "WILY" is an absolute appropriate for this R-o-g-u-e-o-f-t-h-e-f-i-r-s-t-w-a-t-e-r.

Mr Singh the PM is otherwise a clean man and likes his ministers to be clean yet when the entire country is furious and writting, talking, broadcasting against Pawar he is quite and unresponsive.Pawar ordering enquiry into the misdeeds of IPL or BCCI is funny and looks damn bloody fishy,he wants to somehow come out clean of this mess created by himself. But worrysome matter is silence of Cong party who took immidiete action on a soft target like Tharoor and thye hard core dakoos are being overlooked.Cong MPs / MLAs involved in cricket at BCCI or at state levels are all big dacoits not just Chors, have a proper look Mr Singh and Madam Sonia.Do you both ever read Aam Admi's views, comments on your wrong doings on Rediff if not pls make it a habit, you will get correct feed back as well be able to take action on Dakoos and chors in your own party aswell as UPA.Pls Mr PM and Madam.

I heard that Netaji had a different plan for india. His view was that india was not ready for democracy.A 15 year dictatorship rule was required to discipline the population and then move to democracy.Seeing the state of our country now ..Netaji was 100 percent correct in his observations...

very sad
by hari on Apr 21, 2010 11:18 AM  | Hide replies

i am deeply saddened by the remote possibility that ipl may be banned. The tournament is extremely entertaining and is supposed to help India's young cricketers.

I am O.K with betting is that goes on but certainly strongly aganist match fixing.

What was tharoor's fault. We all do or are expected to provide favours of varying degreess as per capibility to our near and dear ones further any goods or service we provide we expect remuneration. So if tharoor provided any service to kochi then being government servant he let sunanda have the shares. The big amount is raising eyebrows but that goes as per the stature of individual concerned. There is no other reason why any concern will pay that much amount to a political lightweight like tharror..or his consort for that matter.

As far modi goes , no doubt he is arrogant, rash and abrasive and needs to be controlled but is the anger due to ipl fiasco or his closeness to narendra bhai and vasundhara raje?
IPL needs to be saved.

Romesh ..as per tehelka the sweat equity belonged to Sachin tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar.Sunanda was just a front face for this.If you look back when the controversy broke out ..there were references to two iconic cricket players ..so there is some substance in the news.Check out their website.
