test cricket really tests the endurance, technique, attitude, temperment and the vigorous training undergone by the player. but unfortunately, audience support is lacking. and in opposite for shorter for of cricket where there is increase. the facts are real.

Sachin never thought that it was too much for him. Dhoni never complained about the back spasm. Yuvraj had all his limbs in top position. Dravid's dead bat suddenly started hitting sixers after sixers! Kumble who retired saying it was enough roared and jumped like 18 year old, Uthapa a discarded a batsman hit highest number of sixes, Murli Vijay a sedate player who failed to impress in tests batted more aggressive than Sehvag & Gilchrist! This is the majic of IPL. This is what money can do! Jai Ho!!

Well Said ! Atleast Murli shows lot of promise, i belive he is going to repalce Gambhir in opening slot with Sehwag, although its too early to say but i guess he is turning out to be next Sehwag.

Come on, now don't go overboard with the performances of fringe players in a tournament which is way too low than the actual international cricket. Don't you remember the star of the last IPL and a mockery at the international level Rohit Sharma?

It is beneficial for players, organizers, team owners. But a lengthy tournament, may get further lengthy, tend to make the players tired.

They are tired not because of playing. They spend more energy during night parties follow every match hosted by franchisees. My be Yuvraj tops the ranking in parties in spite of his dismal show on ground.

Reckless Thought by Wright.
by Sherry on Apr 20, 2010 09:56 AM

No way! There should not be any space given to the IPL in the international calender. We have already seen that how much the cricketers complain about the hectic schedule and shy away from playing for their country but they never complain about the same while playing in IPL. Such a double standard and thats because they get paid like anything.
Wright is absolutely wrong this time.
