cricket is more important than soldiers sacrifice ... :-)

This whole IPL thing started only for money, promotion of cricket was never on its agenda. Even now look at Pawar's face, he is still shameless. We Indians don't deserve to be protected by the brave soldiers of the Indians Army. We need another Chanakya or Sivaji.

IPL -2010 which matches were fixed ?
by Vijay Thakur on Apr 25, 2010 06:09 AM

We have seen a lot of close matches .We have seen a team losing the match from winning ground. They were all the glorious uncertainities of Cricket. The point table shows the stiff competitiveness.
But the active involvement of the likes of Warne, Akram, Gibbs - raised the doubts .
Still , I am not able to guess which were matches - considered as fixed .Do you ?

What's gonna happen in IPL-4
-Media (Burka Datt especially) will be constantly talking about success of IPL brand
-Sharad Pawar ICC chief - Prime minister of India with - his ears lost - will be giving interviews to media
-Lalit Modi will be commissioner of BCCI
-Sasi Tharoor will be Sports Minister

Moral of the story
-Everyone will forget all this by that time

Shocking revelations
by Janarddan on Apr 22, 2010 07:58 PM  | Hide replies

First cut and paste this - Rediff will delete this soon :)

"Indian Premier Leak" in T3H3LKA has some shocking revelations. Apparently there are several angles. Modi is a master manipulator. He told Kochi cons to bid at $299 million for winning. But two cricketers - Gavaskar and Shastri warned Kochi of Modi's games and told that nothing below $322 million will win.

It also says another thing : Sunanda is indeed a proxy, not for Tharoor but two cricketing icons. From their report it is easy to find that one is Tendulkar (who is known to have close association Rendevous group) the other is a former cricketing icon - possibly Gavaskar/Kapildev/Shastri/Azhar.

And of course Tharoor knew all this is indeed responsible. In fact till the bid Tharoor and Modi were pals and Modi got to know of his girlfriend and all that.

And finally, Narendra Modi is one of many behind Modi.
Govt change in Rajasthan has brought up many corrupt deals by Lalit and he sought Narendra Modi's protection - in return for underhand games to win Adani a team for Ahmedabad.

IPL cant go the distance
by clyton travasso on Apr 22, 2010 07:32 PM

I believed ipl was here to stay for a very long time upto now.Considering india is the land of cricket. Its such a shame just in its 3rd season its created so much drama and frustration among people.Ipl organisers shud follow some example from the premier league in england, nba in america, ice hockey in canada these organisations have been for almost 8-9 decades but they still move on in the right way.Our system is so corrupt in india every minister, cop etc can be bought for a price y serve your country.
