While there is no denial that the police in BLR had failed, Tim May's over usage of "poor" is interesting. He says almost everything is "poor". It will be interesting how many Aussies players are taking part in the IPL and whether Tim May had advised them to return home citing "security reasons".....
u guys shud be ashamed of yourself when u guys are dissin Peter May ... If we would had a price on human life in India we wud have been worried..but just 10 mins after a blast we were celebrating a cricket match .. GOD forbid, what if any of ur family member was there hurt in tht blast... u wudn't be the one cussing anybdy questioning our security arrangements...
The callousness of Bangalore Police has dearly cost our competence and credibility in the eyes of general public, purticularly in the minds of foreigners
When Indians are being targeted in Australia, and are being said go back to your country if you don’t like , the same is the case with Australians, if they don’t like our security let them go back and play their own league.
One interesting thing to be noticed, Australia is considered as Developed country, so common middle class Indians go there and try to settle, Australia cannot afford rich Indians, but these so called rich national hero’s of Australia are rushing like dogs to India for money thru IPL. hence I leave it to my Indians to decide, who is developed.
One more thing in the name of IPL money is coming out from Rich Indian pockets, if the same pockets deliver money in development of India, they definitely the TAG of underdeveloped from India would be eliminated.

wud you flock to fill the stadiums watching Jhunjhunwala bat and dinda bowl if foreign players don't come to India... Have u seen stadium during Ranji matches ...
And how bout those 14 INDIANS injured in those blasts, which country they "go back" to.. Callous attitude of people like u has contributed to today's India where there is no price for life .. and u wud bark at everybdy who shows u the mirror...
DO anyone knows how many teams bidded for the IPL teams in 2008.Can you please give the list of bidders who lost the bidding. It will be so helpfull to know the
Whatever said, the bottom line is police and other agencies failed to provide the needed security. Out of the 14 injured if one player or a sponsor rep was injured things would have been very different. It's a serious insult on security that the bombs were found so close to the stadium. Almost after every match at the presentation the commissioner of police was thanked to provide security. For us everything is relative, since the bombs had low intensity we are not bothered, since the toll is less we don't complain. We are just happy that we are lucky. If a pitch is bad then a stadium is banned if the stadium can't be provided security then shouldn't they be banned as well . Anyways, it would be bigger shame if we fail to these criminals into custody with concrete evidence.

It is Australia and not UK. Anyways who cares for such farts who didnt achieve anything on the field and now give out pompous statements
If it had happened in between an International/ICC match, then all players would have gone home. Only bcoz its IPL, they are here. So security is not the concern, MONEY is the concern. Why not admit it?

Only the people who have made ipl a grand success.Rather than providing security to the players, the govt should have considered providing safety to the spectators who have paid their hard earned money just to get entertainment for 3 to 4 hrs.Its high time the govt and the ipl management put more focus on this issue..If no spectator come to watch ipl,it will be a failure to the whole system. But in spite of so many issues like tharoor, modi, bomb blast,IT raid, etc, etc, cricket is in high spirits.the game cricket has won the match..No body is above the game.

but anyway you dont justify the lethargic and unaccountable attitude of Indian cops, just because you are paying them to play. They are best in their business and thats IPL bid for them. Think about if our IT professionals are treated everywhere like Australia, we also go there for money. I do not understand whay cops were doing that close to 6 bombs have been planted,,,,,what if there was a stampede, nobody was going to care that money is involved here,,,,,
