"KKR wining IPL" and "ganguly playing for KKR" both r written on opposite sides of a coin. KKR remove ur blindfold called dada and lead to light by winning IPL.

look at what sourav has done. With an average bunch of Indian players he has fought till last. His captainship , batting and fielding was great. KKR is probably along with Rajasthan Royals the weakest team in tournament.

Sameer Joseph is the same person who earlier used to puke venom against Ganguly with a id "IFearPaceman". Ignore him!!
One could see from the above batsmen table of IPL, why a Chapel, More, Vengsarkar, Srikanth, Buchanan wanted to remove Ganguly from the side. KKR would have done well without Ganguly. Dravid and MecCullum faced the same problem which KKR faced and India lost WC 2007 and KKR also under Mccullum.

I think Dada showed some tremendous grit and determination in last few matches. Open secret is Dada is adamant and cant take orders but he is a great leader. If few of the other team members in KKR squad have performed they would have been in diff. situation. Dada has been exceptional in fielding. SO only point to improve for Dada is to improve the running between the wickets.

VSgiri, another rabid Ganguly hater and believer of Southie supremacy, welcome back. Guys, this same chap once famously said ISRO is a success because its located in South India...terrific. Boss, please wait for Ganguly to fail and then come back to puke in this forum. Its not the time now, for you.

I am more than sure, you are also one of the supporters of Dada and that's why you have intentionally initiated this comments so that people start praising Dada. Not a Bad try VSGIRI.... Anyways, I was, am and always going to be Saurav Ganguly fan, so it hardly matters to me, if on occasions he fails or doesn't live upto the expectations. He has given us so many good memories, fighting spirit and budding youngsters turned into champions that I am always going to treasure the same, like most of Saurav Ganguly's supporters/fans do.

S Ganguly is the best player in his team, whatever area you take - batting, fielding, catches. In batting he is number six in rank among the best IPL batsmen. Sachin has scored 561 runs and SG 493 runs. The next best batsman in his team, Chris Gayle, is far behind at rank 15 in the IPL listing, having scored only 292 runs. KKR has fared far better this year under SG's leadership than it did under Brenden McCollum, who also fared horribly as a batsman. The problem last year was that SRK needlessly intervened and upset the team dynamics, and thus personally screwed up the performance of the team he "owned". When Sunil Gavaskar gave a piece of advice, SRK slammed Gavaskar. You will also recall that SRK showed a strong bias last year in favour of foreign players and, in particular, players from Pakistan. SRK and Brenden McCollum had together placed SG far lower in the batting order. This year, SG made sure he opened the batting and scored maximum runs for the team, held difficult catches, was the best fielder in the team, and led the team to success in many matches.

I am actually impressed with your name.. However, yes, you have raised right point. This writer has wasted his and our time in creating this datas.
The analysis is flawed and biased. It unnecessarily tries to glorify certain individual performances at the cost of strike rate/economy rate (batsmen/bowlers). You guys need to grow up and be neutral.Leave your baggage bihind when offering anything for public consumption.

Writers Idea was to Replace Sachin with Raina or Vijay. He tried a lot. Total Waste of time. Dont Try to fool people

There is no standard formula. The batting points should include Total Runs and should also consider strike rate, same way with bowlers, it should include wickets taken and the economy rate. Strike rate and economy rates are significant because the matches have limited overs. If you create any formula using these basic parameters the table will be almost same. What else you want? Special points for name ending with "Ganguly" etc?
