conspiracy in team selection
by dravid on Apr 19, 2010 04:13 PM  | Hide replies

can anybody tell me why Gilchrist tries to sideline Chaminda Vaas while at the same time likes to fill 3 out of the 4 position with australians I will not be surprised to find Ryan Harris another Australian coming in place of Vaasy who bowled superbly yesterday. that would make 100% australians

@Imran -- You don't have any right to put finger on Gilly. He is the one who had got credit to DC team. Gilly is playing for the interest of Club. If he thinks that this person can deliver good results then he will be taken. He has to go according to the club interest. Only results matters at the end.

by dravid on Apr 19, 2010 04:09 PM  | Hide replies

concept of BCCI administrations backing IPL teams it leaves a bad taste. Come to think of it Srikanth clowns around in Chennai Super kings outfit and it is in complete disrespect to the Chairman post which he occupies. No wonder Uthappa missed out because he thrashed hapless chennai and he did so on the day of National team selection. Rohit sharma will be found wanting on the bouncing wickets wait and see that guy cannot play short pitch stuff here in India forget abroad. He is overhyped cricketer much in the lines of Amol Mazumdar. Mumbaikars always do it

you ppl will always jump into useless conclusions like uthappa being left out etc..if you had heard what srikkanth said on the another day..the selection has to be made based on the performances in the cut off time...pls keep your ears open as well..

You are the biggest clown as you do not understand selection policies. For a world cup you will have to submit your team list quite a few days before the comencement of the tournament. When you are not aware of the details, please don't waste our time posting your idiotic views.

So it is impossible for the selectors to look into the future who has been over rated before IPL 2010 got underway. Yes Uttappa has performed well in this tournament but then it was not possible to know that when selection was made as he started contributing consistently after the team had been selected.

Conspiracy in shifting venu for semis
by Manu on Apr 19, 2010 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

The so called Bomb blasts in Bangalore during IPL match may be conspiracy by the organizers to shift the venue for personal benefits. Hope my suspicion is baseless.

Anyway i dont see any takers for Sreesanth in IPL4 and then you need 4 match referees a batallion of police force just to keep him in check if becomes captain. The best dress would be a colorful lungi which can be used during fielding also

Why is shahrukh khan taking the responsibility of KKR's failure, before somebody blaming him. Calling of bids and payments / funds raised for the bid amount, there has to be transparency. A thorough probe has to be made. Kochi team was announced by Modi-Kochi team manage

Reddy brothers / Shibu Soren / Modi the CM and many many more can survive. Tharoor had to resign only because he supported Kochi/Kerala and MAYBE recommended a high profile job to his friend........isn't it disgusting ????????

Tharoor had to resign not b'cos he is from Kerala but b'cos he is not wily enough for Modi. There are hundreds including Modi who commit crime in daylight. But they are seasoned pros who are able to cover their trails. ST (I believe he is a newbie to the world of corruption) is not smart enough! Don't go for big bucks unless you have all bases covered. ST proved he is a novice for politics. I am sure he will get 'better' with this experience!!

HIGH PROFILE JOB? Hello boss you are talking about only job in the universe where you get sweat equity without having to sweat and no investment and you get returns up to 76 crores. The problem is blatant use of his position. He might have thought he can get away but no boss he is caught because two greedy people cannot share space ask Modi

Modi is a typical Gujarati who means business always. He is too wily to be dethroned from his porch. Look who is left licking his wounds - Suave minister not the money minting Modi. He mints money out of thin air. No one is honest when cricket marries politics - only those who are not caught. ST is caught while Modi will not be. He will use money to escape as he has always done throughout his life. Long live his legacy!!!
