Just like last year ipl, the three south teams have made it to the semis. Only one of the three teams of chennai, b'lore or hyderabad will win. possibly it will be chennai.

You'r wrong...after what they have achieved its for sure that Deccan Chargers are the most eligible to win the title (Though KKR was my favourite team)

Bhaskar, the sad fact is in India there is no value for life for the common man .. Just checkout the number of bomb blasts and terrorist attacks over the years and sadly (Including 26/11) the impotent governments have done nothing. So I dont blame Doull for his comments

by Moral Brigade on Apr 19, 2010 03:18 PM
That's not an excuse for such unsafe region like South-East Asia.
Mr.Doull, only two days are lsft and you might have got your price cheque as well. So, get packed your bags and be ready to fly to your safer nation(so called). Ram Ram.....khuda hafiz....good bye !

NZ is not a "so-called" SAFE NATION,it is TRULY A SAFE nation.

Just because you can see a bomb exploding and see your fellow citizens get injured and not care (Typical mentality:- Till it happens to me, everything is ok) doesnt mean that others should do the same.. The sad part is if a minister or a politician had been injured in this bomb blast, the match would have been cancelled or postponed. But I guess, it is because of characters like Bhaskar that there is no value for life of a common man in India
Simon , welcome to India. This is how one fourth of humanity live every day. On the edge. And yet we are the happiest and the loveliest people on the planet. If its not your cup, sorry, but you need not come in next time.
Re: Welcome to India
by Moral Brigade on Apr 19, 2010 02:51 PM
Happiest ? and lovliest ? Go for a mental check-up. The sorry state of the nation is not only Simon's cup of tea but it's not the cup of tea for the whole Elite-class people of this country. And that's why they are leaving for western countries.

Come and see the people in the west...And you will know what I mean. Money and happiness are two different things residing in different galaxies. Yes, we are among the happiest..A vast middle class of about 500 million in India is happy with who they are and what they do. Thats a sizeable number. And yes loveliest too- we are among the most polite, well behaved, respectful, loving, caring and hospitable people around. The elite and the fortunate have always gone west but they do not represent true India.

Dude, you need to wake up from your slumber and the fantasies painted by the government.. Even now 75% of India's population is either poor or below poverty line..Also just because the common man has been sold the lie by corrupt politicians, media that living with the constant fear of death is normal, dont expect foreign nationalities (where value of life is pretty high) to buy into it. One last thing happiness is a way of life and state of mind and could be anywhere in the planet.
This is what the Pakistani terrorists wants to happen in INdia, they want India too become like their terror torn country, threat to security and total mayhem.
The damage is done by the terrorist, yet here our Govt has a soft approach towards terror and its supporters in India.
Its high time we change our stance and take strict measure against anti-nationals who are determined to sabotage of success of India Inc

Are those Indian's beggar those are beaten and killed in Australia ? Because Australia have not invited them. Instead of criticising these outsiders we should also accept the fact that we sometime put everything in danger when we see monetary benefit. Having said that, these outsiders should also remember that if you are coming to India then please be prepare to face the worst. No gain without pain..

While I agree with you that we have not invited him to India, I do not agree with your tone/language. Be polite in your words. He is our guest irrespective of we called him or he came on his own. That is the least we can do

Whatever happened in Bangalore was on account of a huge lapse by the security forces. Yes, admitted that the foreign players have genuine concerns when something like this happens. Its easier abusing them.

what "huge" lapse of security are u talking dude?? None of the bombs were planted "inside" the stadium where there was more than adequate security. The bombs were placed in roadside bushes and behind hoardings. Now u cant expect the police to sniffing in all the bushes or hoardings in the city, can they?
Re: Re: Re: WHITE COOLIES WHO COME & WORK IN INDIA FO
by Amit Ghura on Apr 19, 2010 01:57 PM
So u mean to says its ok if the bombs r planted outside the stadium.. right?? So 14 people who were injured should not be complaining at all bcoz the security people did their job wonderfully right ?? And if the foreign players, tourists whoever express their concerns .. its not right.. Commendable argument

These Aussies and Kiwis are shameless. Remember what Hayden had said about India when they lost the series in India. Apparently, he had remarked in an interview that India is a third world country with cows and buffaloes on the street and now he is minting money in the same country. He calls Chennai his second home. Spineless whites

Ghosh:
;-)... I like your style.... You have successfully converted a comment about a Sight Screen to start portraying cows and buffaloes... ;)
After JK Rowling you shall take the centre stage in popular fiction, no doubt... :)
And I am also happy to see you so disturbed and dismayed that an Aussie can call a city like Chennai his second home.... Even YOU wouldn't like to stay there... right? :)

well if you guys would fill in the stadias to watch Ranji matches involving local players these Aussies and Kiwis wudn't be here... we are neway a third world country with cows and buffaloes on roads and pseudo nationalist on public forums ... stop dissin those who shows u the mirror and do somethin worthwhile for country if u care..

In that way, i like Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist who both genuinely love India and have never made adverse remarks abt India. On our part, both are loved in India and are legends for us all. Even Glenn McGrath, Collingwood, Kallis, De Villiers, and Kevin Peiterson plus the Lankan stars Murali, Sanga and Jayawardene too.
