Ponting was against allowing the Australian players to participate in the current IPL mateches due to security threats. But he was shouted down by the retired players like Gilchrist, Shane Warne and others simply because of the monetary benefits.

simple becuz.. Gilchrist, Shane Warne r retired and r big HIT in IPL, and have become stars in india. wher as ponting failed in IPL and indians HATE him after his politics in our last australian tour.

Australia me bhartiy logo k upar kitne attack hote hai tabhi hamari BCCI chup baithti hai aur agar India kidhar bhi blast hota hai to news channel pe turant dikhta hai.Australia me news channel aisa dikhate hi nahi hai.
