BJP is playing into the hands of Congres
by Observer on Apr 18, 2010 01:42 PM

Why is all the Congress friendly TV channels asking for Tharoors resignation? Look at TIMES NOW, who is dedicating almost half of its days headlines asking Tharoor to Quit. They are also angry that someone in Tharoor camp said something against Narendra Modi. A channel which uses every opportunity to attack/malign Narendra Modi suddenly had a change of heart. And BJP seems overjoyed and can’t read through Congress spin managers games. More than anyone Congressmen want, Tharoor to be out, and sadly BJP leadership cant see thought this ploy. Didn’t BJP notice the reaction of majority Ruling party MPs, that of immense joy when opposition was shouting for tharoor resignation. Well Tharoor is inconsequential for congress and they absolutely have no problem for sacrificing him. They have used this Tharoor Bait many times successfully to their end objective. We don’t know when BJP will learn from its earlier mistakes. It’s saddening that only party other than Congress with a national vision is not seeing through its chief opponent’s plans. In the name of Opposition Unity, BJP is sacrificing its Identity itself.

Now congressmen please don’t be angry on reading this post, we strongly believe to expose the inefficiencies in the democratic system a strong opposition party is needed and here BJP is the only possible candidate as of now, rather then regional parties with regional interests.

What did Tharoor do wrong?
by educatetheloser on Apr 18, 2010 12:21 PM

- RWS(Rendezvous Sports World) won by a closed box bidding process. No one can influence who will "win". Though once won, winner can be influenced to "back off"
- Tharoor "mentored" a group of investors including Sunanda to bring "RSW" together to bid for IPL Kochi
- RSW is a private company. They can give "sweat equity" to anyone they feel like.
- RSW hasn't given anything to Tharoor(let IT prove that)
So what did Tharoor do wrong?

The business interests of Lalit Modi’s family in the IPL are not limited to franchises alone. Documents available with DNA reveal that his relatives also have a huge share in the coveted online, digital and mobile rights to the event. Interestingly, the rights were transferred to his relatives, including his stepson-in-law Gaurav Burman.

Modi deserves to be thrown into Trashbin for his flimsy behaviour
by Rahul Singh on Apr 17, 2010 07:45 PM  | Hide replies

Lalit Modi is not only most arrogant but stupid too. He should be jetissoned out of the IPL and BCCI. A man with a criminal background.Another criminal in the BCCI is supporting this criminal. He has big stakes in all the IPL team and is busy minting money with both the hands.
