Lalit Modi may have a dubious past and he may be a bit authoritative in his behaviour. But he has taught a lesson or two on entrepreneurship which motivates millions across the world. Tell me a concept or a product which has earned 1 billion US$ in revenue within 3 years. Dude, that is exactly what IPL has done. It was a gamechanger business. People are not fools to let Modi flourish. They know he has the business acumen which has been proven. Any successful person will have enemies and I expect Modi to neutralize his enemies systemmatically though he failed in RCA elections. But Dude, you need to respect Lalit Modi for his pure business acumen and stop hitting under the belt!

Infact the same dubious past of Lalit Modi make us Cynical. If he is so honest why is he not disclosing the share holders of all IPL teams. He just cant coz there are lot of proxies of politians and underworld. About the One billion Dollar revenue that is just an inflated amount only Lalit Modi is saying. The First IPL fetched 650 Crores in revenue and the prifit was a mere 13 crore rs. How many know abt this facts. Lalit is giving paid news to all the medias to hupe him and this league. if it genuine what is the need of this. The franchises are the people who knows the nuances of this business . If it is so promising wht are those six among the eight teams open to sell thier satkes within two tears of inception?coz they are is loss. And the first one who is selling the stakes is Punjabs Mohit Burman who is Lalit Modis Proxy!!Thats shows the intent!!eveb Modi is not sure about IPL s future. This Modi and Company are taking the Gullible for a walk and dont get carried away by he amount the new franchises bought the teams. THta is just black money came out of India. Infact how many knows that punajab kings eleven is registerd in Mauritious and not in india!!! Why blame Lalit Modi ? In fact he has built such a strong Indian sports brand that is giving the football leagues of west a run for their money.It is possible some of his relatives have been benefited from the IPL brand he has built, but he is not a public servant and authorities can always act against him if he has violated any law ! In fact L/Modi has truly implemented the 'inclusion' philosophy in the cricket world because prior to IPL hardly two dozen top players were the main beneficiaries but now hundreds of small time cricketers are also getting opportunities for making a decent living. Not just that look at how cricketers and ex-cricketers from the entire world are competing to play or join the commentary team of IPL ! Contrast it to the days when Ian Botham would like to send his mother-in law instead ? So,IPL is good and should be welcome. The main problem is that now greedy politicians are trying to piggyride IPL to make some fast buck. This must be stopped by bringing in more transparency.

Cricket had a huge fan following in indian since 1983. Illeterates like you dosn know anything about cricket and its popularity. Can lalit modi can do the same with football and hockey????? IPL is a success not because of Modi . Modi just made it a platform for Blak money to be invested. Mr. Dumbo Mohan lalit modi didn invent 20 20 format. IPL came as a counter strategy for ICL. BCCI banned the players associated with ICL and broke it. Giving all the credit to lalit modi for cricket s succuess is just ignorance. I have been following cricket sice 1980 s and i even watch county matches. But glorifying looting is not something to be appreciated . Infact its because of people like you who supports even the corrupt politicians,ex drug peddlars(Lalit Modi) and criminals the state of india is so pathetic !!!
How many people knows about this Dikshit? What has he done remarkable for RCA. It's MODI who has given a new dimension to the world cricket. Single handedly he has managed the show. These are the days of Copy and paste. ICL was also copied from Austrian format of 50-50 overs but failed drastically. ICL also failed. But the IPL is completing a very good IIIrd season and the preparation for the fourth is being done. It's only because of the only man MODI, he has shown how to rule.Remember the iind season of IPL when the government shown their inability to provide security guarantee, it was Modi who single handedly shifted to South Africa and shown the world how to conduct the games in a span of few days.

If that is the case why RCA was sleeping while he was on its board.And what damage ? You are also enjoying the time in front of the TV screen or in the ground. Have you seen any match where the ground was empty like ICL ? How than it is damaged.

What was BCCI doing all these years ? Why didnt they go for 20 20 league long before ? It's very clear that they had stolen the ICL concept to start with then they had black mailed players and also banned some of the domestic players, coaches and etc. On top of that, they did not allow ICL matches in our proven cricket stadiums.
If L.Modi was such a capable person then he should have allowed ICC to recoginise ICL and competed with them. BCCI blacked mailed ICC too. I'm sure ICL would have been lot more bigger and stronger.
Do not make someone a Hero because they are providing good entertainment.
