I guess the root cause of this problem could be that Ms.Sunanda Pushkar might have refused to stand beside Lalit Modi,shake hands or hug him as other franchise glamour ladies often do to keep him happy,which could have upset Modi that made him ask who is Sunanda Pushkar and tried to make public all the things that have come into open. Modi never bothered to know the stakes of other franchisee ladies or the enormous source of funds for them to invest in IPL.

Tharoor says Modi has an agenda and Modi says Tharoor has an agenda. This is what happen s when politics invades cricket. Obviously IPL is big business and teams crystillizing city/state identities makes it a viable place for politicians to market themselves to the youths,who watch matches but would not attend rallies, that are somewhat downmarket. How many times have we seen politicans attending IPL matches and giving awards at the end. That is all a marketing exercise. And now we have more and more politicians heading cricket associations. In this episode, the roleo of Gujrat lobby too needs probing. N. Modi and Ahmedabad has come up in this fiasco as a city that was aggressively bidding and lost out in an upset. The fact that Ahmedabad is also hosting Raj. Royals another state team when there is also a staduim in Jaipur that should host all matches is intriguing. And we know that Lalit Modi lost an election in Jaipur and is close to N. Modi. Wat say! But yes Tharoor should resign. He has made a lot and could live comfortably on it.
From all the developments taken place so far, we just understand that the Girl Friend of our Minister is having 70 Crorers worth of shares towards her service to the IPL team without any funds involvement from her side. The minister says that he has no direct involvement except as a mentor to the Kerala team as that State never had the benefit of such big event. The Minister is also toying with the idea of shifting it to Abu Dhabi so that gulf connections can be strengthened
From these developments, I get a doubt - whether Sunanda could be Benami of some powerful congressman (women!) and our Tharoor has just played a go in between to curry more favour

In 2010 april 13 Shasi tharror an ex un diplomat accepted that his girlfriend sunanda accepted 70crores on behalf of making kochi Ipl team and tharror ,so tharrors work in Un should be investigated and checked this female smelling fat cat is involved in any under/skirt/table dealing...
well.. every franchisee has brought in money through rear doors, if CBI investigates, we will see the last season of IPL. It was just a stupid error by Modi to drag tharoor into it, he would have let go. I am sure, he is repenting it. If you see it was a reply to a tweet when he put tharoor's name, may be he was jut not aware that he is replying in twitter!
