Lalit Modi should be kicked out from IPL. He was convicted for drug peddling. What more we can expect from him. First he should be checked out from all posts and second call an investigation on how his bro-in-law got a team ownership and his bro got media rights and third source of incomes shold be investigated for these dirty stinky piece of s**t.

Friends,
There is a lot of controversy regarding IPL as a game. They amount of money which has been used for IPL teams and for other purposes. The question is India really benfitting from this. IPL teams saying we are doing this that etc. But its simple - People with money increasing their money.

If he really wanted to help and get Keral team, why didnt he help Mohanla & Priyadarshn. They were also the sons of kerala soil. Or atleast they should have been included in the consortium.

because modi prevented them from bidding by bringing new rules.eg: those who bid should have atleast 5000 crore networth.
atleast Taroor said that he is looking for these guys support.

Did venugopal have 5000 crores. Think. People who have got the team have collctivelyput up money. Moreover, the 5000 crore u r saying was for first bid. That was cancelled and alled for second bid. Infact , Tharoor could have givn his 'Expert Advice' to them

I would havebelieved his words had he helped Mohanlal & Priyadarshan. Think buddy. Kerala team was bought by a consortium who were not from kerala, they are businessmen from Mharastra & Gujarat. Except for venugopal ,no one is from kerala. I believe you would want a Keralite to be in helm right. If Tharoor wanted to help, he could have helped out Mohanlal.

What ever happened Kerala got an IPL team. should thank Taroor for that instead of attacking him.
Money from anywhere is welcome as india is a democratic counntry.
There are businessmen from kerala/gulf who can invest - but they are not intreasted. It is because of pressure from Taroor, BCCI etc, modi removed the minimum bid amount from 5000.

you dont get it do you. Do you like a keralite owning a kerala team or some other gulf businessmen holding kerala team. Pls understnd i am not against kerala ipl,i support team. But remove your blindfold and think. FOR YOUR INFORMTION, They are not owned by Kerala/Gulf businessmen. More than half are from Maharastra/Gujarat. Venugopal is only keralite having a personal stake of 1%. This is the exact reason why Modi hasblown the whistle. No oneknows who is investing and here comes a minister saying he is the savior of Kerala.

WAKE UP - modi convicted on drug peddling
by shali vahana on Apr 13, 2010 11:47 AM  | Hide replies

Wake up!! IPL is feudal and all the viewers are slaves, Modi is a convict running cricket. Shame on those who support all royals and kings.
Check the article on cricketnext:
He went on to add that "we have not got any communication from the BCCI. They hasve said our papers are in order. And for your information Modi is someone who was convicted for possession of 400 grams of cocaine and charged with assault and kidnapping. He has even served a two-year sentence and those are the kind of people who we put in charge of cricket in this country.

You dont know this all the time. Comeon its common knowledge. You are supporting a minister ,
i)called ecomomy class a cattle class
ii)his own office bought his books
iii)was staying in Hotel Taj for a year and then was asked to pay themoney from his pocket by congress after the news was flashed.
I am not supporting Modi. But I think , a minister should do his ministerial jobs not this.

Tharroor is harming congress a lot:
-two tweets controversies
-his office bought his own books
-stayed at Taj Hotel Suite and said he paid himself
-and now this Rendevzous corruption

Congress should get rid off this man before it is too late.
