Many say, he has been given more than enough chances but I'd say he's never been used well before! He is a batsman who is perfect for no 3 or no 4! In tests, he can take place of Tendulkar (at no-4) and in ODIs too he can bat at no 4 as long as Sachin is playing. Later, he can bat at no 3 with Gamghir and Sehwag coming in opening! No one in domestic cricket has the temprament he has in himself. I'm damn sure, he'll be treat to watch in future. Just what is needed is a right mentor who can guide him as Achrekar had guided Sachin once! Wish Sachin play a role in this!

Kallis is purely responsible for atleast 3 losses of RCB. His slow strike rate in these lost matches puts addiontal pressure on pinch hitters like Uthappa & Taylor later & the damage is done right upfront.

What the heck...??!!! The real culprit is Robin Uthappa. He had smashed Ryan Harris for two sixes in the previous over. Harmeet is no where near Harris in quality. He couls have waited for a little while to get a look in against Harmeet, with only 18 to get from 12 balls. He could have finished the game in that over itself if he had not played that wild blind swipe. Kallis played a solid innings according to the situation, as 150 is not a big score in T20.

How can you blame Uthappa here ?? He atleast took the game close. What about people who did'nt make runs at all. My understanding is that run rate is very important thing in T20. Once it starts crossing 9/10, no matter how strong the batting line up is, wickets fall like ninepins. I agree with the fact that Kallis is one of the reasons for the defeat, but you can't blame a single man!!

Manu dear, in cricket it's a matter of a single bowl. If guessing a right bowl is so much easy, Bradman would have hit the ball for four he was out on!
now kallis causes 5 loses to RCB d way he plays it increases pressure and run rate for d following bats man. yesterday he played 37 balls n scored 27 runs even if u could have scored 37 of 37 rcb would have been won easily kallis scoring 50 is not enough man play some innings like sachin
It is generally seen that even the best teams often falter chasing a modest total of under 150 and situations are becoming very tricky.Actually the approach of the chasing team should be slightly different for such small totals. It is always better they add 20 runs and set that as target for chasing. That is if the target is 130, add 20 and chase a target of 150.Similarly if the target is 140, then set a target of 140 plus 20 that is 160.This way the the probability of their faltering is less. However for a target of 160 and above they should chase down the actual target and less than 100 should not be much of a problem.
Is more one man team the moment Sachin is out they turn into a third rate team. WI players seems to be having party or they are confused about their role in team. Pollard should be sent up to see what happens since these matches are inconsequential. They should also try out Stuart Binny who had a decent ICL

That Batsman himself is equal to 16. He needs a partner who can run on call, the partner may not face a delivery even.
