The day before team selection about 2 weeks ago, Utappa made silly mistake playing reserve shot and throw his wicket very cheaply. That cost him place in the indian team.
I still don't understand why team was selected so early, why didn't they wait for few more weeks. I think he will be picked if any selected player injured during IPL matches.
To me w20-20 team is very weak and not well balanced and i don't have hope they will win the cup! sorry indian fan. This is what going to happen. Don't hope high and get frustrated!!
I don't think Dhoni has to captain for all 3 format of the game. Selector should give him rest for 20-20 or atleast for captainship.
It was fabulous cricket from R/Utthappa...straight clean hits over the bowler's head or the switch shots.. were simply breathtaking.Never seen anything like this before!In fact it was the 'wall' Dravid before who laid the foundation with his uncharacteristic agressive hitting he is not known for!All in all ,it was a brilliant batting and all round performance by the RCB.KKR on the other hand didn't play good cricket and their bowling more and more seems to be getting reduced to one man, Dinda show.Their next match with CSK should be interesting considering that both are at par whether it is the points or the elusive 'right balnce' which Dhoni and Saurav are still looking for even after 11 matches.We can only hope they will be able to get the 'right balance' by the last and their 14th match so that they can be ready for IPL -4.
