IPL is going a NONSENSE money TAMASHA
by vaibhav kumar on Apr 09, 2010 05:22 PM  | Hide replies

And needs to be stopped and strctured. MODI can not be allowed to do anything and everything.

The only one thing that MODI may do is to dance with cheergirls in open and compel Shahrukh to say that he will go naked, if his team win. That's shameful. In the name of entertainment, you can not allow people like MODI to serve LIQUR, ask the dancing girl to SHOW their SKIN and run on India's name or MAP.

There could be millions in India who give it a damn, as they never fought for the country, netiehr they keep quite and stand up when the national anthem is going on, BUT THERE ARE A FEW, who cares. Respect those few as they have an identity, all others are shamelss non-existing money earning entities.

This comes under something called as NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. Probably you can go through google and find it out.

People like your mantality who welcome anything or everything make this country poor in identity as you can do everything to get JOBS and earn money.

Typical urban middle class mentality. For you India beyond the metros and urban centres does not exist. What a joke - "Everybody is getting employment..."

So let us also open up our country to drugs, sex trade etc. We will get millions of foreign tourists, and will become as much a sought after destination as Nepal and Bangkok. Please appreciate the viewpoint of the author of the message, rather than revealing your own mindset by accusing him!

IPL is never an important sports itinerary.I have been to EDEN gardens on a few of the IPL matches. It more like getting out with your wife for watching a movie on weekends. Its not a serious sportinhg endeavour.I didnt liked my moments at EDen.The honeymooning phase with business tycoons and bollywood heroes are unprecedented events if u compare to world sports.I agree its more of a tamasha than real cricket. However, i have nothing against t-20.A world cup is fine. But IPL is simply tamasha.

Oh so were looking at it when someone threw the National Flag in garbage.....Ministry does not define the character of a country - WE DO - the ordinary people of the country. Did you removed the flag from Garbage? If answer is no then dont blame the ministry ....we are to be blamed.

You feel your honour is being dragged because a few players stepped on the name of the country on the field?? But it is okay to have the name India on the side of a wall, and it gets covered with mud, slush, dog pee etc etc. Grow up Sport Ministry !!!

Did u tried to the clean the wall where people were peeing on the name of the country. Did u stood there and asked people not to do it. I think T20 and IPL and good branding for our country and I really like it. I think it puts us in good light. But that does not mean someone puts his feet on the name or flag of the country. Living with our grand parents who were brought up in Slave mentalities and not having faced WAR for some time out patriotism goes to sleep. Comeon man stand up for the country. Love it. Western world has been made so successful by passionate patriotism of their older generations. Unfortunately we have very few such examples among our own and even if there are people forget them for their own selfish reason. JAI HO INDIA.

If everyone is shitting, does not allow us to accept shitting as a norm.

What sports ministry has done makes a sense. Tommarrow if dancing girl put India's map on their attire will you accept the same?

I think as a citizen of this country, our comfort level has gone so high that neither we do anything nor we want others to do anyhting. Only when we get affected per se, we realize that rules should be folloed.

Kudos to sports ministry to dare asking BCCI to stop non-sense.

Such hypocracy. Cant beleive patriotism is measured by such absured ways. What about the millions dieing of hunger and starvation ? First they make us stand in cinemas to hear national anthem and now this. Doesnt matter that after the anthem people spit, abuse , bribe and try to get a visa to leave India but somehow the ministry thinks playing a national anthem before every crap cinema movie will increase patriotism.. Absurd logic

First of all, get your clairty. Debate on what is being said, not on global problems.

It is a problem not of yours but this nation. If someone tells you that you have not performed, you will come out and say OTHERS also have not performed. Talk about the point raised and not about global or INDIA's problem.

This also indicates that as a nation, we do not understand anything on its merit, but takes UTMOST pride in giving other non-related references.
