Well a total disaster and dont know if Kochi also wants him. Was surprised to C the bowler who is selected for playing overseas cant bowl an over properly with so many wide and no balls above all doesnt have mannerisms...he is fit for a role of a comedian like birbal, mohan chot....i doubt, how the selectors would have chosen him above all talented players to play international cricket....we are having even better bowlers in Mumbai playing gally cricket and who have been consistent enough of not bowling wide and no ballss....ALL THE BEST KOCHI...A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN IF HE PLAYS FROM UR SIDE....ALL THE BEST AGAIN

Even graeme smith was made caption of SA at a very young age...he was not having much experience....but he had excellent leadership qualities. Its not necessary that u should have a star as ur captain..

It can be headed by a 20-25 year youngster who are able to showcase some leadership skills, consistent record....or better it can be headed by any overseas captain like Brian Lara who can nurture the local cricket in kochi, like warne has been doing..it would be great for the game.....atleast we could c some very talented youngsters dying to make mark....

Well, my heart goes towards somebody from westindies, new zealand, south africa....because they are all a good sporting side...if u think of an overseas captain....well india there are many.....even yuvraj would be a good bet,though he has interest in playing for MI
There are many youngsters eagerly waiting to play for India,But people like Sreeshanth cricket is a game of just glamour.Neither will learn the bowling nor he will learn manners.Even youngsters like Dinda,Vinay Kumar,Trivedi and many others are showing wonderful performance in the game.He has no interest in the game a disgrace for his team and nation as well and last for Cricket wich is considered as gentleman's game.He should be lucky enough to play the game these many years because there is serious dearth of fast bowlers in india.
It is high time for BCCI to ban him and restrict him for Cochin team itself.Give the opportunity to young players ,eager and ready to go if given opportunity to play for India.
He should beter become a Video Jockey in Bangalore pubs rather than serious fast bowler for Cricket. Whatever money spent on him is waste and he wont learn.

We may not be the selectors, but I am a native of Kochi and we dont really need sreesanth in the KOchi team. he is neither a good player or a team man. He deserves ban from cricket for atleast 1 year..
