Indian Penalty League, where the entire prize money will be collected by enforcing fines on teams and players and distributed to the winner.. Good strategy by Modi & his team

normal for saurav.

nothing new for saurav.
btw, the financial penalty imposition is ridiculous.

there shud b system for deducting runs or reducing overs for the lost time. like in the past, v had rule in odi that team fielding first completes only say, 47 overs out of the 50 overs, then they can bat only for 47 overs to achieve the target.
penalty shud b harsh like this n not merely fines.

Slow Over Rate

What the hell Modi has to do with slower over rate. It is not an international match. Infact,by delaying the match by few minutes,IPL is adding more revenues.

This decision by IPL is simply ridiculous.

You don't know how things works, do you? They have to pay extra rent for Stadium, workers, broadcast time increases and many more thing they have to adjust with although they plan for all these but if they dont charge then it gradually goes on increase.

But then you have to think about the revenues as well. Im pretty sure the revenue what IPL gets by telecasting a match for 10mins more is much more than all the expenses that you have mentioned. And also, these charges are not mostly hourly basis.
