after his stint with my team DC in ipl1 i too am not missing him. i am glad dc let him go after ipl1 for blaming laxman for losing after he only played 4 games and sat out to injury while this guy score 80-90 runs in 7 matches. i hope he doesnt return.

In fact there were reports that he was found to be a big trouble maker by the DC team management. And DC were keen to get him out of their team during the IPL-3 auction. Its good that he is not a part of DC which is doing well under the great Adam Gilchrist.
No doubt Afridi's inclusion in the IPL wouldmake this league alot more entertaining. regardless of indians hating on him he is the most marketable and most exciting person in the T20format. No country in the world involves politics in sports like india. Grow up you hate mongering indians(mostly always on this site),These players had nothing to do with mumbai 26/11. You can not punish a community or a country as a whole for the actions of a few idiots. And all those ball tampering issues- dont forget mr sachin also has been caught and suspended for this offence and nunerous indians a synonmous with match-fixing. What do you think the IPL really is- a gambling hub and all of it is fixed. So when you say others have sour grapes when He is signing contracts in australia and england and he is a superstar all over the world- its your league that is diminished when you dont have the best players in it and all you have is old retirees and players not good enough for national teams and substandard indian youths. the differnce of play will be evident once the world t20 comes along and you see real exciting t20. The ipl is only a hit in india and even that will fade and the ipl will become a fad. And you indians will have no one to blame except your stupid narrow mentality of holding grudges with the wrong pepole. See in reality you cant deal with the people that actually kill your citizens so you pick soft targets like stars and cricketers to appease yourselves.Idiotic Premier League

100% right. Afridi is a ok player but not so great that he will be missed. This Pak team has very few great players compared to past teams of theirs. Only a few are world class and rest are no more than club cricketers.

Shahid Afridi is lying. He knows deep in his heart that he is missing and so are other Pak players. After all where else they can make pile of money other than IPL. They cannot dream of making that much money in their entire career and what's more Pakistan is cash strapped to pay that kind of money. He should blame his fellow terror countrymen for creating this situation rather than keeping a silent mode on this.
